Tucked among the trees in the Riverbend community of Lake Lure, this cozy cabin offers a peaceful mountain escape with private access to Hickory Nut Lake, including a small neighborhood beach for swimming, paddling, or kayaking. Start mornings with coffee and birdsong, enjoy afternoons on the water, and unwind in calm, cozy interiors after exploring Chimney Rock Village and the Lake Lure area.

The cabin offers two spacious bedrooms, each with a queen bed, comfortable hybrid memory foam mattress and high quality linens. The kitchen and bathroom are both fully stocked with everything you need to make you feel like you’re right at home. Plenty of comfy lounge space, games, rugs and art. High speed fiber internet and smart TV with streaming apps and basic TV channels available. PRIVATE LAKE: You will have access to a private community lake with a small beach & a pavilion with picnic tables. Bring the family and some snacks and enjoy swimming, kayaking and paddle-boarding.

LAKE LURE (re-opening May 1, 2026) is only 5 minutes away and features 800+ acres of fresh water, a marina with boat rentals, a clean beach area with slides, and is great for a wide variety of water activities including fishing and water skiing.

CHIMNEY ROCK: A laid-back historic mountain town with a unique “western” feel, featuring locally owned shops, restaurants and bars with views of the Rocky Broad River. Make your way up to Chimney Rock State Park which features a 535-million year old, 315-foot granite spire with breath-taking 75 mile views. Accessible via hiking up nearly 500 steps or a 30 second elevator ride! The park also features Hickory Nut Falls, a 400 foot waterfall and several other hiking trails.

1. Dittmer-Watts Nature Trail Park- 3.3 miles of trail, pet friendly, covered picnic area and benches located throughout! (8 minute drive, right across from ingles grocery store)
2. Canopy Ridge Farm- 60+ acres of family friendly zipline tours and UTV tours. Only a 2 minute drive from the cabin!
3. Lake Lure Green Space- former golf course turned into open green space for hiking, dog-walking, and disc golf!

1. Grey Hawk Bar & Gardens- a curated, open-air, pet friendly oasis with lush gardens, and creek, creating a relaxed atmosphere. Live music, craft cocktails, local wine and beer list. Menu items such as charcuterie boards, sandwiches, soups and salads. Also features a separate coffeehouse! (11 minute drive)

2. Lured Market- a farm-to-table restaurant and market known for its comfort food, local craft beer and friendly service. Local beef, pork, trout, produce and cheeses. Dog friendly, with a special dog menu available. (12 minute drive)

3. Lake House Restaurant- right on the lake! Offers two distinct dining experiences with stunning lake views: an upscale, casual upstairs area (reservations recommended) and a laid-back downstairs sports bar & grill with outdoor patio (first come, first served) featuring classic and contemporary dishes, handmade pizzas, boat-in access. (7 minute drive)

4. Canoe Kitchen and Bar- a cozy, upscale dining experience with a bi-weekly rotating menu of craft cocktails and delicious unique plates. Live music! (4 minute drive)

5. The 828- local taproom/sports bar with great wings and American traditional food, outdoor area with lawn games. Pool table inside. They host events and live music! (14 minute drive)
