    Large log home in very private setting with 4 bedroom, 3 full bathrooms (one master bedroom with full bath on each of the 3 levels), hot tub, wrap around, fully enclosed upper deck with seating and a log swing. Located in the beautiful community of Riverbend at Lake Lure, surrounded by spectacular mountain views. Riverbends Mirror Lake and Beach are short walk from the cabin or a quick drive with parking available at the beach along with a covered pavilion with seating and restrooms, The French Broad River runs through Riverbend and is great for summer tubing or playing in the small river rapids! The cabin also has a small creek in the back yard and open acres behind the cabin perfect for a little hike!
    The cabin is located in a very private setting with no other homes in view, yet minutes to town, grocery store and lake/riverside dining. We have a large, private wrap around deck with hot tub, grill, log swing, log picnic table and rocking chairs. Canoes/kayaks and paddle board available upon request (no charge).
    We have three large MASTER bedrooms and a 4th open game room /bedroom downstairs with a seating area, set of log bunk beds and a queen sofa sleeper with a door out to the lower deck and hot tub.
    The lower level (3rd master) bedroom has French doors out to the lower deck with a hot tub. 10-minute walk to beach and lake. Canoe and firepit available upon request. Sleep 10 in beds with queen/twin air mattresses available upon request.
    We are centrally located to many activities such as pontoon boats rentals, zip-lining, kayaking, canoeing, snow tubing, snow skiing, horseback riding, white water rafting, numerous golf courses, putt- putt, fishing, Tryon Equestrian Center with daily horse events and restaurants with weekly festivals, spectacular hiking trails, mountain bike trails, Lake/River side dining, Biltmore House and Asheville, numerous local wineries and breweries and much more! There are activities for every season!

Great Stay in Riverbend!

We had an amazing time! The cabin was clean and spacious! Huge wraparound deck with a porch swing and rocking chairs that we enjoyed nightly. The swimming hole and river in the community were so much fun. Close to lake lure and chimney rock. Overall a great stay!

A delightful cabin!

We truly enjoyed our stay here! The cabin is well laid out with plenty of room for everyone. We LOVED spending evenings on the wrap around porch playing games and grilling out. It is remote enough to really feel like you can "get away from it all", but close enough to things like restaurants, shops, grocery store, hiking, and lake activities.

Wonderful summer vaca

Absolutely beautiful cabin which kind of felt like a treehouse with the lovely wrap around porch rockers, swing and jacuzzi. Liz has thought of everything beautifully decorated with very comfortable beds. I would recommend 4 wheel drive as driveway is slippery we needed it when it rained. Also, it is not directly on lake a short drive to the lake. Cabin has use of kayaks and paddleboards which was great as well.

Peaceful & Relaxing

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin, the area was close enough to the main road yet remote enough to be peaceful and relaxing. We brought our little French Bulldog and she soooooo loved the deck, it has a locking gate that allowed her to enjoy the outdoors without concern of her curiosity tempting her to wander off. Liz was great accommodating late night arrivals for part of us. She was also awesome and in constant contact with us when power was lost due to a truck hitting a nearby power line. Even with unforseen situations out of her control, she was on the phone with the power company and we had power restored in about an hour. Thank you Liz😊

Log Cabin near Lake Lure

We had a very nice, quiet, peaceful 5 nights at the cabin. I can't remember the description on the VRBO site, but basically I think the cabin and the description matched. I recall comments about the driveway, and indeed, it is very steep, but as long as you keep to the right hand side, it's doable. The deck was wonderful, and we sat there every morning. The weather was quite hot, but the A/C worked well. We were 5, but 8 could sleep comfortably as long as 6 of them are happy sharing queen size beds. If you have kids, there is one bunk bed for 2 kids (or adults). The cabin could use a few things. The kitchen needs bowls and teaspoons (there are 2 of each). The lighting in the main room is pretty dark, especially if you want to do a puzzle, but there isn't a good puzzle table anyway. We did a couple that we brought, but it meant we couldn't eat at the dining table. We had no issues, so didn't need to communicate with the owners. I feel confident they would have responded quickly had we needed them. Overall it was a very nice interlude.

Property was a home run from reservation to departure. The description and imagery were accurate, the rate was fair, and communications with the owners were seamless and timely. Check-in was smooth and the directions provided got our family to the house without issue. Layout was PERFECT for our group: two families with kids, Grandma and a family dog. Each set of adults had a separate bedroom on their own floor, and the kids had the game/bunk room all to themselves. The wrap around porch was ideal for small kids and the dog, grilling, meals at the picnic table, or just sitting on the porch swing. The interior living spaces were great for family meals, movie nights, or playing games. The entire family loved the private beach and playing in the river - we were there every day. The house was close to the zip line course, grocery store, and just a bit further to Lake Lure Beach, Chimney Top, and great hiking. We saw plenty of deer, turkeys, chipmunks, birds and even a small black bear. We didn’t fish but saw plenty at the lake. This property was a 10/10 for us and I wouldn’t hesitate to rent again.

Great family vacation
