Overall our experience was great. Host was very responsive and helpful. The master bathroom is great and has an awesome shower. The location is fantastic too. Close to a little grocery store, several restaurants, wineries,

Convenient
But dated and in need of cosmetic attention
Nice roomy old house in a great location in Lake Leelanau. Very clean and comfortable beds! This is a new owner so a few furnishings, kitchen supplies etc were just being set up. Upstairs bedrooms are simply furnished but comfortable (we came as only a married couple altho it sleeps 6).But the host was very helpful in supplying things missing. Great location to all the towns and lakes in the area! Sleeping Bear Dunes, hiking, kayaking, restaurants, wineries, ice cream, and more! We look forward to returning.
The house is over 100 years old according to the host, a fact that was not known at booking. The floors are not level and have multiple soft spots. The workmanship of the upgrades that has been done is poor. It has 3 bedrooms the master on on the first floor and two upstairs. The upstairs bedrooms have a two beds. There are no closets or dressers. The upstairs bathroom door does not close. Parking is on the grass in front of the house between a sidewalk and the street. I would not return
