The Hotel St. James was amazing! It was central to everything NYC. Walk 10ft outside past midnight and can get food and drink, and convienently next to a 24 hour store and rooftop bar. Hotel staff was great so was the housekeeping and AC.

Website touted free breakfast as “a rarity” in NYC. At check in we were provided a card for free coffee and a pastry from the coffee stand in lobby. Coffee stand staff said we could only have coffee. Website shd be corrected to accurately represent that you only get a cup of coffee for breakfast.
Bathtub needed replacement or scrubbing.
Bed linen was very crisp and clean. Thank you! But not enough to keep one warm at night.
