"Checking in was pleasant & quick. Rustic type hotel & beautiful grounds right on the lake. Room was great & laid out well. Hot shower. Real nice hot tub, indoor swimming pool & fitness room. Hotel Breakfast was amazing!! Next door restaurant had fabulous meals, good portions, & priced right. They serve breakfast all day. Thanks all!!"

"It’s a 2.5-star at a 4-star location. The internet was spotty, and the apps on its smart TV weren't working. The a/c in room 208 turned off and had to be restarted manually. The beds were adequate, but the biggest sign that the hotel is a 2.5-star-level facility. But for visiting the state parks in the area and the Apostles, this is a 5-star choice."

"We were met with a dog odor on first entering the property.The odor dissipated during the week--via indoor air handler?!There were two bags of dog poop left on the porch.The bed was clean and comfortableThe yard was beautiful and inviting."

"Serene setting, spacious for our large family group. Close access to the lake, with multiplpe docks, chairs and fire pits to fully enjoy the peaceful setting. Kayaks, canoes and paddle boat were a big hit with all, especially the grandkids and plenty of life jackets. More than enough for everyone.Close to hiking trails, museums and stores to pick up what we forget, or needed. Traavis was very accomodating, quickly responded to any questions, both before we got there and while we were there. Thank you."

"Beautiful, quaint home in a quiet, small town. Lake Superior Beach is a five minute drive away with a beautiful view. The coffee shop next door also serves breakfast and lunch."
