Hotel Kelowna & Conference Centre

"When we arrived, we noted that the hotel was being renovated. This amenities such as the fitness centre and pool were unavailable. When we booked the room, there was nothing online that stated that the hotel was being worked on or that these services were unavailable. The rooms didn’t have any “do not disturb signs” and we were woken up by housekeeping trying to get into our unit. We found that the sheets on our bed initially weren’t clean and had notable red stains on them. Reception was approached regarding the issue and we were told that the issue would be dealt with promptly. We left for the afternoon and returned to find that nothing had been done (and there was barely anyone at the hotel). I went to the front again and expressed that I had asked for the bedding to be changed a second time. The desk attendant apologized and brought down a new sheet. We set the old sheet out in the hall and it stayed there until the following morning when someone finally picked it up. We will stay elsewhere next time."

"The hotel staff and restaurant staff were awesome. The hotel staff upgraded our room to a wheelchair access room when they saw my husband was in a wheelchair and I explained that I didn’t know how to reserve a wheelchair accessible room on the computer. We were there for 7 days and they were able to give us the room for 4 days and upgraded us to a queen room for the last 3 days from a double bed room. We had stayed in rooms with double beds on our way to Kelowna and found we couldn’t get the wheelchair between the beds so it was a struggle for my husband to get to bed. The restaurant staff were awesome too . They remembered what we liked to drink and had it to us in 1-2 min of entering the restaurant and accommodated my husbands pickiness. We will definitely stay there again."

"We recently stayed at Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Kelowna and overall had a great experience. The property was spotless and very well maintained. The swimming pool area was a highlight, with both a hot pool and a cold pool option, which was enjoyable for the whole family. The room was clean, comfortable, and provided everything we needed for our stay. The location was also convenient for exploring Kelowna. The only downside was the front desk communication. We tried calling multiple times during our stay, but our calls went unanswered. We eventually had to walk to the front desk whenever we had questions or needed assistance with something in our room. The complimentary breakfast was appreciated, but the selection was quite limited and could benefit from having more options available. Overall, despite a few minor issues, we had a pleasant stay and would consider staying here again because of the cleanliness, comfortable accommodations, and pool facilities."

"Reserved and paid for a king room but when we got there the only one they had was on the 3rd floor walk up -no elevator and we are seniors with issues walking. This was supposed to be a special treat for our 50 th anniversary but all they could offer was a double queen room on the main floor. When we checked out the rooms (and we checked a couple of them), they were stifling and minimal if any air conditioning (it was 35 degrees outside). The host then suggested a double queen room on the 6th floor in the tower as the tower has a different level of ac. It was working well so we ended up staying. We were so sad it wasn’t a king bed but was acceptable as by that time no other hotels had king beds available or we would have changed hotels. The host tried to help but our disappointment was huge! Coffee pods are charged for."
