"Everything is great except for the shower. We were in a handicap room. The handicap shower bench did not stay up when propped, so we had a tiny area to shower. Also the shower pressure is low, but not that big of a deal. The big problem was that, we had a tiny space to stand in the shower because the shower bench had to stay down. We were forced to shower while sitting down. This is a beautiful room to stay at since right out your door is the lake. It was nice sitting by the lake drinking...

"Hotel was clean, beds were comfortable and everything was as expected based off the description. Walls were thin but that’s to be expected in most hotels. We loved that they provided a sound machine and fan. It was convenient that they had a convenience store attached to the hotel too. The view from our window/door of the lake was beautiful! Would totally stay here again."

"The room was very clean. Fife Lake is right outside your back door, and the room included an outdoor table, chairs, and a chair swing to take in the incredible view. We stayed there to go wine tasting in Traverse City. Fife Lake Lodge is a 35/40 minute drive from the city, but it costs less than most other options closer to TC."

"Communication with owner and the lady who's the manages the rentals was fantastic. They were considerate but couldn't help out since the whole place was booked that day. It emptied out the following day and we didn't get offered a better spot. According to Vrbo we thought we rented the one 20 steps off the water because of medical reasons and ended up 150 steps off the water with a small concrete slab and a gravel parking lot outside our door.
