"Two of us stayed here for a gals' weekend in mid-March. Our stay happened to coincide with a snow storm (not unusual for the season in the area), and this was the perfect place to hang out and relax. The space was clean and comfortable, and the fireplace made it super cozy. (The fireplace is on a thermostat, so it's totally effortless!) The sturdy, folding table on wheels made the space nicely flexible. We could unfold it for meals and jigsaw puzzles or easily move it out of the way to roll out our yoga mats.The host was in touch as needed, made sure the snow got plowed, and let us check in a bit early and check out a bit late so we didn't have to travel on hazardous roads.There are enough beds for six, as indicated in the listing, but it would be pretty crowded having that many people indoors for any length of time. If you're mostly going to be on the lake and just need a place to sleep, it would be fine. But I wouldn't plan to hang out inside with more than two or three people."

"Loved the house and hot tub. Great areas for our family to gather for meals, games and relaxation. Suggestions for improvement for fully stocked kitchen; provide basic seasonings, salt and pepper along with coffee grounds. Since it sleeps 14, place settings for more than 8 would have been ideal."

"It accomplished exactly what we needed pet friendly, time away to just hangout with friends and family without the distractions of work and life.However, in one of the bedrooms there were a dirty pair of pants let in the room on the floor and a pacifier from the previous people on the ground. Also, we came in the winter, so I am assuming the summer experience is excellent, but during the winter, at least, the water was untreated and smelled so bad that people chose not to take showers and brushed their teeth with bottled water."

"Our stay at ‘Bearadise’ was great! The home was very welcoming and decorated for the holidays. The weather didn’t cooperate for the winter outdoor activities we had originally planned, but we all stayed happily busy playing pool, darts, basketball and rock climbing in the huge indoor gym, and playing other board games. If you are looking to get away and enjoy a quiet country property, this is a perfect spot!"

"We stayed in October, and there was no activity on the lake, so it felt like we had it all to ourselves. I recommend arriving before dark, we had a slight problem finding the place and then the cipher lock didn’t work. The owner was very responsive and reset it remotely. Once inside, we discovered the water wasn’t working. The owner sent a plumber the next morning to fix it. But till fixed, we had no water the first night. We hauled water from lake for toilet and we had brought drinking water with us that we used for drinking and cooking. Would of been nice if owner would of compensated us something for inconvenience. Despite the rough start, we loved the place. The view from the living room was beautiful and the kitchen was very well equipped. One note: the ad says, “Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.” However, the VRBO bill also included a stay tax, service fee, and cleaning fee. A few suggestions: a bigger TV would be nice, maybe just because it was football season. And some storage containers with lids for leftovers would be helpful in the kitchen."
