Excellent Stay.

Beautiful hotel with great accommodations. The room was spacious, very clean and confortable. The breakfast was small but satisfying. I would definitely stay there again.

I was travelling with two small dogs and a car full of stuff for my house rental. The hotel was safe and the garden was fabulous for the dogs. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful. I had a great room and the restaurant at the hotel was excellent. All in all it was a great overnight stay and I may very well go back there on my return.

Enjoyed it.

Beautiful building, lovely room however signs of age. Lovely big bed and huge shower. Very nice staff. Nice pool and steam room but again showing signs of age. Free parking, location not far from shops and town. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here.

Very nice hotel and great parking. Beautiful building. Only slight let down was lack of staff especially this morning myself and other guests playing hunt the receptionist to check out. Eventually had to leave a note and request email to follow with bill.

Stayed here in November 2024 and liked it so much rebooked for April 2025. Upon arrival after a 4 hour drive we were told at check in that 1 week before they have decided to close the restaurant permanently and there was also no bar or no drinks in the mini bar. None of which was advised to us. Whilst it’s a lovely building it’s being neglected with its lack of amenities for some reason.

Business trip to La Rochelle Boat Show

Beautiful building and very helpful reception staff, spa was a little tired with a broken steam room and very tired shower area but pool a good size and pleasantly warm ! Grounds need a little TLC but could be absolutely stunning. Only down side was that it was a 10 minute taxi ride into La Rochelle and both taxi's and Ubers were hard to come by due to the Boat Show !

Oui mais...

Positif : dame tres sympatique et arrangeante au petit-déjeuner et a l'accueil le second jour . Negatif : moisissure sur les fenetres et rideaux dans la chambre, serviettes changees alors que n ne les avions pas mis par terre, et monsieur a l'accueil 5 l'arrive3 qui no dir qu'il n'y a pas de bus pour le centre-ville de la Rochelle alors qu' il y a un arret a 3mn .

Un séjour agréable !

Vraiment un hôtel magnifique avec une véritable histoire. Chambre spacieuse et agréable. Personnel d'accueil très souriant et sympathique. On aurait voulu rester plus longtemps !

C'est un très bel endroit. Dommage que le ménage ait été fait vraiment à la va-vite dans notre chambre (encore du sucre sur la sous-tasse et petite cuillère non-lavée. Nous n'avons d'ailleurs pas eu deux sous-tasses mais une seule, sans doute celle des précédents occupants. Tout comme le réassort de café qui n'avait pas été refait.) Sinon la dame de l'accueil était un trésor et le lieu est vraiment super beau ! Je recommande malgré tout, je pense que nos désagréments viennent juste d'un personnel d'entretien qui n'avait pas fait son travail correctement.
