We enjoyed many aspects of our stay in Lagoa. The apartment was very spacious, bright, and comfortable, and we really appreciated the thoughtful welcome basket with treats, coffee, fruit, cheese, butter, and other items. It was a lovely touch and made us feel very welcome. Catia was also very accommodating, helpful, and responsive throughout our stay.Unfortunately, there were a few issues that affected our overall experience. The listing indicated that the apartment had air conditioning, but there was no air conditioning during our stay. Standing fans were provided in each bedroom, which helped somewhat, but this was not what we had expected based on the listing.There is also a nearby café/bar that became extremely loud at night, and the noise disturbed our sleep on several occasions.The most significant concern, however, was a problem with cockroaches in the apartment. This made us very uncomfortable during our stay and was disappointing, particularly because the apartment itself was otherwise such a pleasant and welcoming space.Overall, the apartment has many positive qualities, and Catia was a kind and attentive host. With the air-conditioning information corrected, and especially with the pest issue addressed, this could be a very enjoyable place to stay.
