"Located in a quiet area of Carvoeiro the property and grounds, pool etc are kept in good condition. Apartment was well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine etc and AC. All staff were friendly and very helpful. A hire car is useful but Carvoeiro is walkable, but the the return walk is uphill and very steep in places. Cars can be hired through the hotel and the rate we got was better than going direct to the bigger companies. We would definitely return here if we go back to this area....

"The property was just as described. Very comfortable and spacious apartment with lovely roof top terrace which we were able to use even in Jan/ Feb. "This apartment is very well equipped and in a perfect location with a short walk to all the bars, restaurants and beach. The roof terrace at the apartment was fantastic for taking in the sun and spent most days on it. The communication with the owner Mark was top notch. "Lovely apartment, spotlessly clean and the owners are very helpful and polite. Well equipped ,with the exception of the lack of a kettle, but well maintained. In a nice spot, very close to the pool and restaurants. Not really a major tourist spot, not a lot of nightlife, but lovely for a quiet relaxing week."

"Much of the property and hotel have been remodeled. Although clean, the rooms have been ignored since the mid 70' probably. They need updating. I've never encountered a hairdryer fixed to the wall with 2 feet of fat corrogated tubing. We asked cleaning staff for extra towels on our second day, which we received. We needed an additional one later in the day. When I asked the same cleaning for one, they began arguing with each other and then told me " go to your room". Our towels were wet and used. Out of spite apparently, they neglected to clean our room the next day and told management we had a do not disturb sign on our door all day, which wasnt true. We used wet towels again the text day. Management argued with us when we mentioned this towel situation. They were not friendly at this hotel. They treated us disrespectfully. Over a towel??"
