"Hostel El Refugio had all the comforts of home including a warm hearty breakfast every morning, comfortable beds with fresh linens in a private room, and private bathrooms. My visit was during fall when temps were colder. The hostel was always warm after a day outdoors. The owner Luis was very kind and accommodating, making sure you have everything for a perfect visit. "LOCATION: the location is ok, Puerto Natales is a small town ~20k people so pretty much anywhere you stay is going to be close to the Plaza de Armas and Marina. SERVICE: the staff was good, when they were around. Katie helped me book my tours and gave me some great recommendations. AMENITIES: basically none. It’s a bare bones hostel.
