Better than reported, not that great though.
The online 1-star rating is not really justified. Although basic, this place is worth the $55 fee. The Hotels.com experience is to be avoided, they overcharged on the rate. The room was basic, the bed below average, but seeing the many species and number of sea birds in the early morning is a treat. ...

Wonderful place for a getaway
Great house in the Santa Catalina area, with privacy and an awesome property. The owners were so nice, and they conveniently arranged some horses for us to horseback ride on their property and at the nearby beach, which was fantastic. Great conversation with them as well, they were both very friendly ...

The system to get in the cabin is pretty clever, and the place looked nice. Yet, I would have appreciated instructions on where to leave the money and also if the grass around the cabin was lower or cut.
