The property sits on the most beautiful spot on the Lake. We have stayed for four years….with NO SIGNS of stopping. The memories we make are epic here and the Sunset is unmatched. Highly recommend this spot.

Great property and location, but could use a lot more owners attention.
Great spot to enjoy everything the region has to offer...
Quiet cove with great yard, huge deck, fire pit and so peaceful - a nice breeze all of the time. Soccer, corn hole, barbeque, swimming, fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding all day. Fires at night and quiet comfortable sleeping! Close everything to Wolfeboro and Alton have to offer - dining, bars, boating, hiking, golfing and great people watching! we all enjoyed the location and the accommodations.
The house is a little quirky, but the location is spectacular !

Location fantastic, House a nightmare
The first floor of this house was so dirty, creepy and musty. After on night my family members who stayed down there checked into a hotel. Old Food and alcohol packed the downstairs frig. Cabinets in bathrooms and kitchen were full of old used items. Beds were very uncomfortable. We had to clean gas grill and deck and goose poop on yard. But the location was wonderful! great beach with fire pit and wonderful sunsets.
The location was perfect. Lake Winnipesauke is a massive lake. Having the home in a cove made the water calmer and easier to use boats and water ski. The property has a big sandy beach and a large pier. We were able to dock our boat and jet ski on the pier. They provided three kayaks and a paddleboard to use that were wonderful.
The home was older but functional. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook (minus crock pot). Plenty of dishes, utensils, serving plates, seasonings, and lots of Tupperware. The dishwasher, washer and dryer were great to have. The central air worked well and kept the upstairs cool. The basement, which holds 4 twin beds and 1 double bed, was freezing though. Upstairs held 1 double bed and two twin beds. They do not provide linens, but plenty of blankets, comforters, pillows, and towels.
Thank you for an enjoyable week!

Great location, but unfortunately unclean and unsafe electrical
The location is absolutely beautiful. The yard and waterfront are really the draw to this location. We appreciated the kayaks and paddle boards and enjoyed having camp fires on the beach. Barbara was a responsive host.
Unfortunately, we didn’t find this rental to be clean. The open space under the stairs, where most of the sleeping areas are is full of thick dust, dirt, black mold, and trash. My children who have dust allergies were not able to sleep in the basement bedrooms because of this. The grill had not been cleaned in some time (not even grates) and literally caught fire when we lit it. The listing does not clearly state that bed linens are NOT provided. The dishwasher was full and there were wet clothes in the dryer. The AC unit was broken, likely because the electrical wiring in the house is absolutely not up to code and cannot support it.
My biggest complaint is that the electrical work in the house is absolutely unsafe and I hope that this is seriously overhauled before it is rented to anyone else. One outlet in an upstairs bedroom was taped over with clear packing tape, but was singed and black underneath where it had clearly overheated. Another had metal prongs sticking out of it. 2 others sparked when we tried to use them. We were told not to use others for safety. I worried about my kids plugging anything in.
I loved the location and we had fun on the lake, but would never visit again until electrical is up to code and a serious deep clean is done.
Our fifth year staying, it gets better every year!! The added window lends itself to exceptional views from everywhere!! This is a gorgeous spot with unmatched sunsets!
We had an amazing family vacation, filled with so many new memories! Barbara was so sweet and very easy to get in touch with. The location was perfect for our family, and we will be returning again next year. Thank you Barbara!!!
We had a great time at the lake house. Check in was simple, the home was clean, and there was plenty of space for my big family. The kitchen had everything you could need and the living room space was great for game nights and relaxing after a long beach day. The beach and lake area was stunning. My toddler loved the beach area and he could run into the water at ease. The paddle board and kayaks were a wonderful amenity for our family and we enjoyed fishing and exploring the lake. The yard area and deck were also perfect. So much space!! Barbara was extremely responsive and flexible. Thank you so much for an amazing trip.
Plenty of room for all of us, we will be back for another trip!

Property located in the perfect air. Wonderful beach and yard. Cove is quiet and water calm. Easy to get to, private, and we had a very nice time. Beds comfortable, kitchen is equipped. Living room very cute and baths fine. House requires updating. Dock needs replacement but we were able to use part of it. Handrails missing and some steps around the house were steep and too high to be just one step. Overall we had a really nice time. Thank you to our hosts!
The location is what makes this property. The private sandy beach and the proximity to town are awesome.
However, the house seems to not have been updated (much / at all) since the 80s and many parts are in dire need of repair. Everything was still functional, though. The house itself is quite basic with - for example - many of the beds being just mattresses on metal frames.
However, it was perfect for us and our close friends with 4 adults and 4 children under 7. The many water toys in the shed were great and an unexpected bonus.
I'd love to see this property get some TLC to make it live up to the awesome location that it's in.
The view of lake is wonderful. The house is horrible. The smell of mold, mildew is overwhelming. The house is run down and dirty. The appliances, stove and microwave were at least 40+ years old. But the most dangerous spot was the deck. Some soft floorboards, moves when you walk on it. It's an accident waiting to happen.
This is a special weekend for my group. My family used to have a home in Center Harbor where my dad and his friends would come this weekend. As I got older I did the same. About 10 years ago we sold the house but have kept tradition alive. With the same group of friends and one newbie who now has about 10 years under his belt.(My 29 year old son) we have enjoyed this annual weekend for over 30 years.
Enough about me, your property was amazing! Hanging by the beach with the fire pit in the huge back yard made the weekend perfect! Plenty of space for everyone and your communication with us was first class!
Thanks for giving us a memorable year!!

Beautiful location, clean house, good price. Quirky layout with a near ladder like steps to access two basement bedrooms . Friendly and accommodating host. No cell service or Wi-Fi. Would stay again.
House needs some cosmetic TLC in basement level, but otherwise plenty of room and beds and a great location and property. Huge , well maintained lawn and private beach, great views of lake from yard and deck, especially at sunset. Would recommend for either a family or group of friends, really enjoyed our stay, you will too!
We stayed in the winter for Ice Fishing. We had access to the lake for snowmobiles and great spot for fishing. Place is a little dated but everything was functional. We had a blast and would stay again.
