"Overall, our stay was good. We stayed on a cold and damp Easter weekend (arrived April 3rd and left April 6th) so I wanted to start a fire in the fireplace, but notice the fireplace was filled with ashes and had to remove those ashes before starting our fire. The fireplace had a glass door on the front of it, but the glass was severely blacked from many uses and once the door was closed, you could not see the fire. I tried to clean the black soot of the glass, but it would not come off. The owner does provide firewood, but it is very old and rotten. The owner does have good firewood but that is locked up for emergency use, in case they have a power outage and the wood is needed for heat. Other than the fireplace, the rest of the home was clean when we arrived.I love to cook, so we ate in for most of our meals. I would suggest to the owners to update their cookware, the cooking pans are old and handles are cracked.The master bedroom is very comfortable with a large bed, TV and fireplace. This home is located in a beautiful area...peaceful and quiet. Was it worth the 900 we spent for 3 nights...maybe not."

"Cute cabin with a great location. Less than a mile from the Fall Trail and close to the Rickets Glenn Hotel. My wife loved it so much she wanted to look at real estate. We would definitely go back to this cabin. "

"The setting for this home has a beautiful view of Lake Bel-Air. I stayed with my cousin so I gave her the bedroom and slept on the queen size sofa bed. I was amazed how comfortable this bed was. It has a built in automatically inflated air mattress that was easy to setup. It was called Air Dream (air over coil technology). So don’t be discouraged to use it. The kitchen has a gas cooktop. There is also a toaster oven and I used it to make a pie which turned out perfect I have Verizon for my cell phone and I did not have any cell phone coverage but this was not a problem because there is very fast WiFi easy to connect with. I was able to use my computer to get some work done. This area would be great in the summer for a family. There are kayaks and a big outdoor fire pit. I hope to go back in the summer to enjoy the lake. I did see Common Merganser ducks on the Lake. A species not often seen in SE PA. A quite nice location to get away and relax."

"Our worship band stayed here for a songwriting retreat and we absolutely ADORE this house. Many of us consider it our dream home. Comfortably fit 15 of us and team meals were seamless thanks to the long table, large kitchen & stove, 2 dishwashers, and lots of plates, cups, etc. The host is very responsive and kind! And the cows by the barn are the cutest. I would give 100 stars if I could - will definitely be back! :)"
