"I booked it quite late and was driving by the time the itinerary came through. I had thought it was a hotel not a B&B so was surprised when I arrived and could find no reception and no staff. Then I tried to contact the owner which took some time. Eventually she arrived and I discovered the nearest restaurant was 5 miles away for dinner. "We felt well cared for while spending two nights at La Bonne Auberge with our German Shepard. Emmanuel, the host, had a dog bed, water dish and disposable bags in the room on our arrival. The room was nicely appointed with a very comfortable bed and nice linens. The view from the terrace was spectacular, especially at night. Breakfast was lovely, freshly baked breads, house made yogurt and jams, fresh squeezed OJ, local honey, ham and cheeses and fresh fruit. We enjoyed dinner at the Auberge...
