"AC wasn't working. We had to open the window to get fresh air but it faced the railroad tracks so we had to listen to the trans roar by and the loud announcements from the station next to the hotel all night long. Would not stay there again."

"the hotel is so beautiful and the location amazing but the rooms really need an upgrade. the rugs are a bit shabby and there was no place to plug in my computer or iPhone to recharge. at least in my room but I have found that to be so in the past. and I had no hot water in my shower."

"Well run and decent all around. Excellent location in the touristy old town. The downside is party people are noisy so bring ear plugs. We didn't opt for the breakfast because we felt it was a bit pricey and we were happy to go get a croissant and cafe au lait ourselves."

"Our family of 3 enjoyed our stay at Hotel Bristol. The location was excellent, it was within a good walking distance to the Palais and close to restaurants and shops. The lobby of the hotel was beautiful, the staff were attentive and the buffet breakfast (added for a cost) was great. Our room was clean and a good size for 3 people. Would highly recommend. "

"We stayed three nights over Easter at Capelongue, just one day after opening for the season—and unfortunately, it showed throughout. Check-in was poorly managed. We arrived at 12:30 with a pre-confirmed early check-in, yet no one could tell us when the room would be ready. We were sent to lunch (which was good), but even at 15:10 the room was still not available. When we pointed out that Expedia listed check-in from 15:00, we were told it was actually 16:00. We were eventually given the room shortly after, but the process felt disorganised. We booked a Deluxe Terrace but were given what seemed to be one of the smallest in that category, in the older part of the hotel. No seating area as shown in photos, visible dust, and a terrace next to the parking with a loud AC unit running constantly. It’s hard not to wonder whether booking via Expedia influenced the room allocation. Service lacked consistency: pool towels not cleared or set up properly, pool water not very clean, and empty glasses left around. Basic standards were missing. On the positive side, the food was good and restaurant service attentive, and the property is visually appealing. Overall, however, the experience fell short. Would return, but not at the start of the season."

"I loved my room. Even though smaller, it was so very charming with tall ceilings and windows that led to a small balcony overlooking the main boulevard. You cannot beat the location. Just steps away from everything. Even a small desk to write in my journal. Thank you so much for a authentic and lovely space."
