Good location for walking around.. lovely and helpful service from the reception staff.. comfortable and good linen.. unique retro styling perhaps a little rough around the edges.. needs a little attention but on the whole a great experience

It is a pleasant hotel although only 2 star. Well maintained. Well located close to old port. Only problem was lack of air conditioning so room unbearably hot (we stayed during the heatwave)

Nous avions réservé un hôtel que nous connaissions bien. En arrivant, un écriteau nous demande d’appeler un numéro. Nous devons aller dans l’hôtel d’à côté car le propriétaire est décédé. Même en étant sur-sur-classé, le confort ne fut pas le même. Malgré tout, les hôtes ont fait le maximum pour que nous y soyons bien. C’était tout de même un peu bizarre !!!

Globalement très bien

Très chaleureux accueil et très gentil personnel. Très confortable lit. La chambre n’a pas de vue sur la ville donc ce détail sur Hôtels . com est faux. Il n’y a pas d’ascenseur, on a bien galéré avec nos valises. Très bonne adresse à côté des jolies Halles. Jolie cour où on peut se poser pour lire, fumer, etc. En arrivant le monsieur à l’accueil a annulé notre réservation sur le site pour qu’on le paye direct qui était moins cher.

Emplacement idéal et personnel au top

Emplacement idéal dans le coeur historique de la ville. L'équipe de réception est super et nous a conseillé des visites et restaurants. La chambre est assez spacieuse, dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de clim (toutefois l'hôtel fournit un ventilateur en chambre qui fait le job). Attention en revanche il n'y a pas de parking directement à l'hôtel, il faut se garer dans les parkings publics à proximité. Nous reviendrons pour un futur séjour avec plaisir!

hotel bien situé après notre demande auprès du responsable de l'hotel, nous sommes allés manger au "bout d'entrain" restauration super, bon accueil et bonne cuisine pas de piège à touristes petit dejeuner dans la cour de l'hotel bien agréable Ville de la Rochelle superbe un petit bémol pour les parkings pas toujours facile à trouver l'entrée mais la cohabitation vélos pietons et voitures formidable Beaucoup de municipalités devraient en faire autant!!!

- punten : op voorhand een 'stille' kamer gevraagd, waarschijnlijk de meest lawaaierige gekregen , juist langs de oude houten trap waar iedereen langs moest, boven de receptie en eetzaal..s morgens gaan vragen voor een ander, eerst ging het niet erna wel een ander gekregen. een blijvende muffe geur in de kamers , ook een scheve grond en trap punten:poetsdame is zo vriendelijk geweest om de koffer te verhuizen ondertussen dat we weg waren. ook het andere personeel was vriendelijk Zeer goede ligging en ook rolluiken aan de ramen wat zeker een punt is

Unassuming but well kept hotel

This was a last minute booking after a busy cycling day, and it was like an oasis for me. They have a closed patio where you can safely park your bike. I loved the original decoration of the hotel and the room, and the extremely welcoming staff. Breakfast was simple but good. Location was awesome, at walking distance of everything.
