The best time to go to La Postolle is during the late spring (May to June) and early autumn (September to October) months.

These periods offer pleasant weather for exploring the Bourgogne region's countryside and vineyards without the intense heat of summer or the chill of winter. You'll find the landscape at its most picturesque, with blooming flowers in spring and the rich colours of the harvest season in autumn.

For those interested in wine, September and October are particularly good as they coincide with the grape harvest. Many local wineries offer special tours and tastings during this time, providing a deeper insight into the winemaking process. It's a wonderful opportunity for couples to enjoy romantic vineyard strolls and intimate cellar visits.

May and June are ideal for outdoor activities, such as cycling or walking along the canals and through the fields. The temperatures are comfortable, and the days are long, great for leisurely explorations of nearby villages like Chablis or Auxerre.
