The hotel was wonderful. The coffee was pretty good for hotel coffee. Everything was clean and staff was helpful. We stayed in a room with one of the jet tubs and it was clean and very relaxing.

My daughter and I recently stayed for a softball tournament. We loved the view of the lake and our room was a great size! We were pleasantly surprised by how clean and well kept everything was and the staff were very friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

This place is very well kept. The staff are attentive to keeping it clean and in good order and there is always someone nearby at the front desk, in the lobby or in the dining area. The pool is clean, the breakfast area is clean and the breakfast has a large variety and is attended by staff to help guests. The room is clean and comfortable, the air conditioner works great and the room is quiet. The area has a few lakes including one behind the hotel and a big one across the street with nice views. The immediate area around the hotel is small town, go about one mile in one direction it is country, go one mile the other way is lots of shopping, restaurants, fast food, convenience stores and then after that is the town of La Porte with lots to do. A great hotel in a nice area.

Our room was clean and so was the lobby and breakfast area. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room hvac unit worked well but we like to be able to run the fan constantly while sleeping and this system wouldn’t allow us to do so. It was quite warm in the building. Breakfast was decent and somewhat typical eggs with cheese, biscuits and sausage gravy but no meat. Everything seemed fresh. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Many of the hotels in Laporte are less than stellar. The Comfort Inn, however, was clean, is well maintained, and has friendly staff. It's also much easier, and safer, to get in and out of their parking lot compared to others we've stayed at.
