"The room was great and easy access. Its a short walk from the downtown district and has a full stocked kitchen and parking right outside the door. The drive to Portage beach is less then 10 minutes and there's a great old fashioned drive in Root Beer stand with great food nearby. The only issue was we seemed to run out of hot water when filling the tub ans needed to wait. Other then that. It was a great experience!"

"This place was perfect for two! It was small, but so fun and had everything we needed plus more. It was a quick walk to the hot tub and beach and a quick drive to food, shopping and the casino. It was cold so we didn’t get to take advantage of the free bicycles or beach equipment, but we’ll definitely be back. The pinball and massage chair were a nice touch! Super cozy spot!"

"The staff is always so helpful, and the breakfast is good for a hotel - yogurt, water, 3 heated containers (eggs, bacon, other), coffee, juice, oatmeal, pancakes, toasters, bread & pastries). I did miss the VIP perks but this is b/c the hotel is under renovation and the coffee cafe is closed due to that. Good to be aware of the renovation if staying summer of 2026, but this is temporary and didn't bother us too much. I was initially concerned about noise. I think if you stayed in your room during the day it could be bothersome, but they worked seemingly 8am-4pmish, so construction noise was not an issue for us. Only impact is we needed to use the elevator as front steps are blocked off during the work. Rooms have been updated with different floors having decor geared toward each of the 2 nearby colleges which was great! Would definitely recommend staying here as long as it remains reasonably priced!"
