Bucket list trip. Fabulous experience.

Location was excellent. Accommodations great. Would rent the unit again if I come back. Only complaint the air conditioning was woefully inadequate.

My wife hosted her girls weekend so I and the dog were excluded. My brother joined me at one of our favorite places on Madeline Island.

Bad Water in good setting

The water at this rental smells Terrible and isn't consumable for drinking, cooking or even washing your mouth when brushing your teeth. No water filtering system or bottled water was provided and there wasn't a warning to bring our own bottled water. There are some needed repairs, i.e. the lower-level door frame so that the door can be securely closed and locked. Other than the terrible water (and MUCH less significant lack of seasonings/not even pepper and salt), the rental is very nicely decorated and furnished (i.e. good beds, towels, useful wall hooks, kitchen dishes and pans).

Quick getaway.

Looks just like the pictures. Deck was nice to sit and watch the ferry traffic. Light in shower was burned out and toilet full of rust, but otherwise clean.
