Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel
8/10 Good
"The hotel itself was very clean, in a great location, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We really appreciated how convenient everything was and how well the property was maintained.
However, the breakfast buffet was extremely disappointing, especially considering the price. It was far too expensive for what was offered. The food quality was poor—particularly the scrambled eggs, which were honestly some of the worst we’ve had. To make matters worse, when we arrived at the restaurant, even the glasses had an unpleasant smell, which made for a very bad start to the day.
Overall, while the hotel and staff were great, the dining experience needs serious improvement."

"Breakfast was less impressive than I expected. Parking felt safe and appropriate."

Hyatt Place National Harbor

"Everything was great."

Courtyard by Marriott Arlington Crystal City/Reagan National
10/10 Excellent
"The room was absolutely spotless. The bathroom was very clean, shower doors spotless and they are clear. Shower itself clean. No stray hairs lying around. Plenty of towels.
Bed was very comfortable had a few different pillow types on bed which was excellent. Linens were white and not shredded or stained.
Large TV , we barely turned it on. Did not use refrigerator or microwave.
One thing I loved is the filtered wster station by the ice machine. Make sure you bring water bottles, they wanted $7 for a small bottle of water.
We did not eat there or yse any amenities as we were there to visit family.
I know nothing if the parking, except it is covered.
The shuttle from the airport was great, however, does not run before 5am. So it does not help early travelers.
All in all, for comfort, clealiness I would give it a 5/5. When we are back, we will book here again."

"Great room"

"The location of this hotel was great, very convenient. That’s where the positives of this trip end. The staff were not very helpful and seemed to have an attitude when asking if it were possible to accommodate my needs. Late check out costs extra, a conference room costs extra, coffee costs extra-no coffee maker, microwave, nor cold refrigerator were in the room. Breakfast even costs extra. Felt like I was nickeled and dimed for the most basic of requests. WiFi was spotty at best. Some of the channels available for streaming were also spotty. The walls are very thin, I was woken up by people letting their doors slam shut several times a night and by the next door neighbor at 3am engaging in adult activities. The “bathroom” in the room had a toilet that was so low it is hard for people with disabilities to use. The shower door wouldn’t close and leaked water on the floor outside of the shower. The bathroom door its self did not fully close. For a Marriott affiliated hotel I was quite disappointed by this experience. "

Hampton Inn & Suites Alexandria Old Town Area South
6/10 Okay
"This property is long in the tooth and in need of refurbish. It was clean as anyone could get it but stained carpeting, janky ac unit with metal hanging off it. Front desk staff was excellent and check in was smooth, Also of note if you have a car, you’re forced to download an app on your phone to pay. Not at all convenient and I’m unsure that I was aware at reservation that I would need to pay for parking. Breakfast was good and staff were once again courteous and professional. Wouldn’t boom here again; "
