Very well situated and the room was quiet. So easy to walk to the centre and the tram stop outside the hotel is very convenient. I would happily stay here again.

Staff were amazing and friendly. We checked in 20mins early and staff were happy to accommodate that. All the staff were friendly and pleasant. We were staying for a rugby World Cup fixture and there was a bar 2 minutes walk. But as the area is more business oriented the bar closed on the weekend which was annoying. But the hotel was excellent and would happily stay again.

The hotel was very good value for the money we paid. It was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The traffic noise was loud but not when the window was shut. The bathroom was very nice. The bed was comfortable and the biggest bed we've ever slept in. No negatives at all with our stay. We would recommend the hotel to anyone. Nearby is the beautiful and peaceful Jardin de Geants. Nice pizza/pasta restaurant hundred yards from hotel. Easy access to Gare de Lille and the town centre.

A modern hotel, but with distinct style, not just a box! Friendly helpful staff, no tea making facilities in our room but when i asked i was provided with a kettle and cups, tea and coffee sachets etc. Relaxed breakfast area, self service. Extremely good restaurants and bars around.

Hotel needs a face lift
We have stayed at this Hotel on Meany times and loved it but this time the room we had was a bit of a letdown Saturday morning No hot water Told the lady on reception but wasn't really bothered Hotel needs a face lift

The property was very nice. We were there on a Sunday, so most shops were closed. The front desk staff were just so-so. They were not friendly nor welcoming at all. However, we had a much-needed rest in a quiet, spacious room for a good price.

Christmas Market visit.
We had a 2 night stay to visit the Christmas market. The hotel was in a perfect position being right next to a tram stop. Walking into town took 20 minutes. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast had a lot of choice but a bit crowded and one coffee machine led to queues. If we return to Lille we will stay at this hotel again!

Tired Decor
On checking in, my reservation could not be found, although an email I had sent a few days prior to my stay was seen, and I was asked if I had received a response, I said no I hadn't, i received no apology. After several uncomfortable minutes went by, with no attempt at any conversation, I was handed the room key and directed to the room. I met the Housekeeping team on exiting the lift and was greeted warmly. The room was spacious, plenty of cupboard space, perfect temperature, shower was fab. The bed was two twins pushed together, so uncomfortable, didn't sleep well my entire stay. Great sound proofing from the window, could hardly hear any traffic noise, even from the Tram located directly outside the Hotel. However, the noise from the lifts, loud TV from the next room, loud talking in the passage, no soundproofing there!! On leaving the Hotel the next morning, I approached the reception desk to enquirer about the Tram, and was greeted, offered directions to the town centre and also given a map. The young man was very pleasant and helpful, a different man from when I checked in. Thereafter on leaving and entering the Hotel, it was a different person on reception, and no attempt at a greeting was ever made, no eye contact. Not the most pleasant of stays

Lovely central hotel with some issues
Very good for transport links. Easy walk from Gare du Nord and right opposite Gare de L'Est. Oldish building with a very modern room for my stay. As others have said, you do hear thr rumblings of the trains below and the street noise but this did not keep me awake. The main problem is the hotel plumbing! As it is an old building, despite the very contemporary bathroom, the plumbing is still old and boy can you hear every single noise made in other bathrooms! A real shame as I liked this hotel alot. If you can sleep through all that noise, particularly early mornings...then I would recommend for a contemporary and simple stay.

The room was small, but adequate for our one night stay, decor was stunning art decor with beautiful colour scheme. Bed was clean and super comfortable, bathroom was beautifully tiled and shower was just amazing. All linen and towels were quality. We chose to have breakfast elsewhere, so I can't comment on it. Overall I rate this hotel definatey 5 star

Lille Festival weekend trip
We spent two nights here, this is a lovely hotel and ideally located in front of the tram stop for easy access into the town centre - two short stops away.

Great hotel and location
What a great hotel. Super value for money Excellent breakfast and helpful staff. Secure car park Location is very good adjacent to tram stops. Buy a one day ticket for less than €5 and travel all day.

Highly recommended
Room was scrupulously clean, with adequate space. Well soundproofed, so even a room facing the street was quiet. Excellent wi-fi. Did not have breakfast, which appeared sparse (coffee, croissant, fresh orange juice). Hotel parking cost 10 euros per night, but was completely secure. Front desk was multilingual and extremely helpful. Tram stop only steps from the front door. Highly recommended.

Quant hotel at tram stop, just outside city center
First time we stayed here, as other hotels above the train station were booked. Quaint hotel, rooms are somewhat small. Located in neighborhood setting, with several good local restaurants and bistros very close by. A 15-20 minute walk to the train stations and downtown, but the tram stops in front of the hotel, and it is only one stop to Lille Europe station, two to Gare Lille Flanders. Nice bar, it was supposed to be open all hours, it wasn't.

Hard to find but worth it
The hotel is lovely our room was great. The parking garage is a challenge--it is around the corner and it takes several backups and adjustments to get a small car into it. Breakfast was lovely. The hotel was difficult to find since posting street names is apparently optional in Lille.

Nice hotel
Nice hotel close to centre. 2 stops on tram to centre. Rooms small but clean. No kettle which I really missed. Small reception but helpful staff. Breakfast basic but ok. There are probably better and worse hotels in lille but if returned (I was watching football with family and friends) would stay again as fit for purpose

Easy access to main train stations and city centre
All was good apart from my arrival. I was very late due to Eurostar failure but I had rung earlier in the day to check my booking was confirmed and was told that it was When I arrived after 11 hours of travelling at 2am I was told there was no booking for me. I insisted there was and eventually it was found on the screen, as was all the paper work. All this was very stressful and I did not get an apology , a simple "opps sorry my mistake" would have sufficed On the plus side when I asked for a tea tray it arrived promptly and with a smile

Not lavish but reasonably functional.
Rooms were a bit on the small side but were clean and functional. Bath room was okay with a good shower. The TV was very restricted for non French speakers. Had a decent fridge but no tea and coffee making facilities. Staff were helpful and the Hotel was fairly quiet. All in all not the most sumptuous of places but fairly good value for money.

Nice hotel, check the location's right for you.
The hotel is about 15 mins walk from the Eurostar station, which is handy. The area itself didn't seem to be worth exploring, better to head into Lille centre, old town or new, which is about a 20 min walk and could be too far for some people. No restaurant on site so you'll need to get out and breakfast was not worth the money, at least not against UK standards. Room was absolutely fine, nothing outstanding but clean and tidy and well finished.

A bit Tired....and hot rooms
The staff made up for what the hotel lacked. The pictures in the website depict a far more exuberant hotel. When you arrive you can see it is a little tired. The faux Art Deco is a little disappointing and suits a business traveller far better than a leisure trip, where my expectations are higher. Although close to Lille (15 mins walk) it is NOT in Lille. The walk is mostly along a busy road, with not much to see. We went in what is a mild October, but they were in heating mode in the rooms. It was very very hot and uncomfortable both during the day and night. They were unable to rectify this.

In town for La Braderie, and had an excellent weekend. The hotel was full but the staff was very good, and we never had any problems.

Good rooms and service
Original room smelled of smoking - this is a non-smoking hotel - hotel instantly changed out room and we were very satisfied. Only difficulty we had we getting into the car park which is a bit tight, but a Nissan Four ~Track made it OK anyway. Easy walk into centr of Lille
