"Hostel itself was really nice, cute decor with great kitchen and laundry amenities. Quick walk to the beach and bus station. However, the area around the hostel was not the nicest and it was a long walk to the historic centre to find nice places to hang out. There was also a problem with cockroaches in the room that made it very difficult to get a good nights sleep. Steer clear of the ground floor rooms!"
"Overall a nice place.
Good stuff: The beach was only a 4 minute walk, also short walks to bus, grocery store, taxi stand, and many restaurants/stores.
Annoying: we had to sit sideways on the toilet due to close proximity to the wall, and we are average height.
A little strange for us (Americans): no washcloths nor top sheet on the bed (only a comfortor)

"Handy location for beach and good bus service nearby.
Rooms clean and quirky with glasd bathroom . Bed very comy.
Could be a bit noisy with traffic.
Rooftop area nice to relax. Shame bar not open."

"We stayed in a junior suite, and had a fantastic stay! Stayed for three nights with my husband and three year old son. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the beach, bars, restaurants and shops. Plenty of supermarkets nearby also to stock up on essentials for self catering. Our room was lovely, modern, spotless and equipped with all necessary facilities. The room is equipped with a smart Tv; hairdryer, iron and ironing board, safe, microwave, complete kitchenware, cooking utensils and kettle. The complementary toiletries and kitchen snacks provided were second to none. The bedding and towels provided were plentiful and of good quality.
Communication via WhatsApp was excellent. There was even a beach bag euth two beach towels left for us, nice touch!
The day before we checked in; I read a couple of reviews which complained that the rooms were completely open plan with no privacy for the shower and toilet. When I expressed concerns about this, Paula actually asked a colleague to send a video of our room so that we could make sure it was suitable before we arrived. The room was absolutely perfect; there is sufficient separation between the bathroom and the rest of the room, and the toilet is within a completely separate area with a door.
Every member of staff we came into contact with were warm, welcoming and very efficient.
Nothing was too much trouble.
Would 100 per cent recommend, and we will definitely choose San Marina apartments again when we return. Thank you!"
"The best thing about this hotel is the staff and the food. The property is a lovely art deco style building that needs some updating but the rooms are spacious and the views of the port are great.
The third time we have stayed here, the buffet breakfast is great with a nice selection and the food in the bar is great too.
Staff are always so friendly and accommodating.
Close to bus connections, easy walk to Triana where there is a great selection of shops and restaurants.
Kids love the pool on the roof terrace although it was a bit windy during our stay so we didn’t spend too much time there.

"Peaceful, serene, quiet, oasis - all these words come to mind when I think of Open Sea Suites. Such a lovely surprise when we walked in the door, even down to the welcoming soft smell. I found myself scrunching my towel up to my nose for a deep sniff before I used it, don't change your laundry soap! So clean, so close to everything, so thoughtfully equipped, would love to stay here again if we make it back to the Canary Islands. Thank you, your vision for this place is truly a gift to your customers "
"A small but very friendly Hotel with a perfect situation. Just 1 minute walk to Las Canteras beach. Surrounded by some good local restaurants and bars and also many shops, but not noisy. "
