I do not like to write reviews like this. The facility overall was shabby, though my room was clean. The restaurant and pool mentioned in the Expedia listing were both closed (for a very long time). I had no clean water in the bathroom sink or tub. The onsite manager was very polite and helpful.

Worst Hotel Ever!!!
This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Didn’t expect a whole lot but do expect to have water. Couldn’t use toilet, sink or shower. Manager said it was a breaker problem when water shut off. She said it was fixed and when we got up second morning I water again. I asked for consideration on price but I had prepaid through Hotel/Expedia and she said I would have to take it up with them. Wel we will see if Hotel.com helps with this. Don’t waste your time or money at Bene’s Fort Inn!!

Stained carpet with i hope just animal feces and urine. Damaged walls in shower. Bathroom unclean. Sheets had brown spots. This used to be a nice place. Not now.

Should be off online platforms!
We did not stay! Tried to cancel. The receptionist said she could not cancel , we should cancel through the online platform we went through. My husband and I reviewed the rooms. It was smelly in the whole place. Felt dirty. Dark, no lights on in the reception area. Beat up pickup sitting in front.

Soon as you walk in smells of cat urine . No restaurant breakfast or pool . Limited towels no washcloths. Did have mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker in rooms and they didn't smell.

This room had no frills. The outside grounds were terrible. They put a room deodorizer in the room. I am allergic to such things. It looks like it is in mid-remodel mode. The room did what it was intended for, a place to sleep.

The entire motel needs to be knocked down and put a new one in. It was not worth the money we paid to stay there. The entire motel was filthy and smelled real bad. We had no hot water to the room and the room hasn't been completely cleaned in years. If not for the fact that our son is dying in a nearby facility we would not have stayed the one night we did. I will never go back and I would not recommend that anyone stay there ever.

Room looked nice until I pulled back the shower curtain. Yikes. Duct taped tiles next to the tub. SLOW drain. Ice machine broke. Property overgrown. Blew right by the sign because that is not what it looks like now. Large stains in hallway. The front desk lady was very nice. Bed quite comfortable.

The outside of the building & the entrance way was terrible. Didn't see another person the whole stay, I think we were the only people in the whole building so it was kind of eerie. The room itself was nice, clean & comfortable.

The room was clean and one of the beds was pretty comfortable. Hallway stunk like cat urine and the outside looks like the property is vacant due to overgrown weeds.

First of all seems like this place has not remodeled since 70's. Very bad oder in entire area. It's so dark at night you can see where you are going. They sure need more lighting. Pillows had hair on them. I don't think they were changed. Cat was running in the hallway meowing all night.

Immediately upon entering building was an extremely overwhelming foul odor of cat piss. DON’T STAY HERE. Numerous feral cats roaming indoors and all around property. DON’T STAY HERE Restaurant closed. Pool has obviously been closed for at least a decade because it was overgrown with weeds, inside the pool itself. DON’T STAY HERE. The hallway leading to our room was almost unbearable because of the smell of cat piss. DON’T STAY HERE. Overhead lights are out, so they plugged in lamps from the rooms to light the hallway. DON’T STAY HERE. Zero water pressure for the yellow water that came from the faucets. DON’T STAY HERE. At some point the tub needed repairs, so it was painted and now all the paint is peeling off. DON’T STAY HERE. Overall… DON’T. STAY. AT. THIS. NASTY. PLACE.

Over the 20 years I have been staying at Bent's Fort Inn, it has continually deteriorated. Room was OK; but there are no facilities and the lobby, grounds and exterior are much in need of repairs and upgrading.

It was a little hard to figure out how to get to. Looks like it had been closed for a long time and maybe was just being opened back up. Needs a lot of yard work and pool work.

There is no one at the front desk. There is a note to knock loudly on doors 102 and 120 if you need something. Waited 1 hour 30 minutes for someone to check us in. Lost key and had to wait an hour for assistance. Local church rents rooms for homeless crackheads. Constant fighting police took one guy away.
