"We had a really super stay here. What a beautiful hotel; traditional, immaculately clean and so well equipped. We were made to feel so welcome for our short stay (hopefully longer next time!). "The setting is beautiful and unique. The accomodations were very nice. Our room in particular was quaint and reflective of the natural surroundings. We did have an issue with our shower but the staff were very helpful and apologetic. We ate at the onsite restaurant. The food was (maybe not Michelin Star worthy but) very good and the service was excellent. All in I would recommend this hotel as a comfortable and interesting stop in their travels."

"Lovely hotel close to abbey. Staff were very friendly and the accommodation comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was superb - all locally sourced, beautifully cooked. Both nights I stayed there, it was fairly full with plenty of local residents- sue sign of a good place! Thank you for a good stay."

"Overall it was a nice hotel for 2 stars, with perfectly clean rooms and friendly staff. The room was a little cramped, not much maneuvering room around the twin beds or in the ensuite, but it was quite cheap and served our purposes nicely. Possibly worth knowing is that the wifi si free but only allows the connection of one device at a time. Breakfast was continental-style, quite varied and 6 euros per person."
