"L'annonce est incomplète car il est inscrit "logement entier" pour la chambre zen alors qu'il s'agit d'une chambre dans une maison où l'autre chambre peut être louée, ce qui a été le cas. Partager la même salle de bain et toilettes n'est pas confortable. De plus la cabine de douche était sale (moisissures). Il faut prendre les clés dans un enclos où il y a des chèvres et un âne. "This is a beautifully decorated house with ample space, games for the teens, and a wonderful garden area. The best part of the property was the wonderful hosts. We came in late after many of the restaurants had closed and helped us get something to eat. They truly went above and beyond. It has great access to the Loire Valley chateaus and we wish we had more time at this location. The kitchen, coffee bar and bathroom were exceptional. Hats off to whoever the decorator was! "The Chateau and its grounds are beautiful, though in a somewhat rustic, magnificently aged, sort of way. We really enjoyed lounging at the pool in a spectacularly scenic setting and biking around the grounds. The restaurant at the hotel is excellent. Enjoying it is a key part of the French Chateau experience. We reserved a deluxe double room, but were upgraded to a higher category room because of a complication with the reservation. The room was very good, having all the amenities one might need. The staff were great. The Chateau only has some bicycle fitness machines for working out and the nearest gym is approximately 25 minutes away. The tennis court is respectably good but not top of the line. Because the Chateau is sufficiently close to some of the important sites in the Loire Valley (e.g,, Chambord, Chenonceau and Blois), we were able to use it as a base for visiting them. Note, however, that driving on the country roads is a little bit hairy."

"Ines was very attentive and the setting is lovely. Two things to be aware of before booking: 1) the two rooms with single beds (one with two beds, one with four) can only be accessed via the upstairs double room. IE, there is no real privacy on the upstairs at all. There also is NO TOILET up there for potentially 8 people!! 2) the "no towels" policy is a bit weird. We stopped off on our way to buy them and then Ines told us she could have rented them to us! A house with a pool should really supply towels at this price point."

"This is a a beautiful old chateau which operates as a hotel. The staff is lovely and very accommodating to travelers. I do t speak any French and the staff speaks little English but we managed just fine. I stayed in the carriage house. The room was very basic but had a remodeled bathroom. Probably the biggest issue was the heat and a lack of air conditioning. I had temps ranging from 98-102 the entire time I was there so that was hard. Just know this when you plan. The restaurant is wonderful and reasonable for Europe. It was the best food I had in three weeks traveling in Europe. One of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time. Breakfasts are wonderful and again, very reasonable. Fresh fruit, ham, meat and cheeses along with fresh breads and pastries. You should definitely rent a car if staying her. Ubers are a fortune to and from this location. Double of what you would expect. It’s not walkable to town or any conveniences. That said, it was a quiet and very quaint stay and again, the staff was fantastic."
