Take in spectacular views of the Black River while staying in this beautifully remodeled home. Enjoy a cup of coffee in our 3 season room while watching the sunrise and eagles nesting in the backyard. Located 2 minutes away from Celebrations on the River, we are a prime location for guests attending nearby events. We are also 10 short minutes from downtown making transportation a breeze. Birding in La Crosse area

We loved the property and area. We were comfortable and had all that we needed. As well as visiting birding sites, we enjoyed being on the porch and walking out on the dock.

Great get away spot

Very clean place with quality king size beds! Not far from downtown LaCrosse and easy to get to. We really loved the sunroom for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Definitely would stay there again!

Girls weekend getaway

This home is beautiful and suited the needs for 4 adults. It is great to sit in the sunroom or deck and relax looking over the river. The space is open and easy to hang out together and play games. We had a great weekend and felt so comfortable here!

Perfect!

We loved our stay on the Mississippi in La Crosse. The property was easy to find, and the check-in worked great. The home is tastefully decorated without being overdone. The beds were comfortable, the bedding and towels were of a great quality, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The best part is the location. We enjoyed both the mornings and evenings sitting in the four-seasons room watching the ducks and eagles hunting for food. Thank you for sharing your home.

Perfect vacation house

This was so much more than the pictures. It was such a amazing place to stay at. Not one thing to complain about. The upkeep was incredible. They had everything you need. My family would stay there again.

Fall weekend

Visiting LaCrosse for a wedding and added a few extra days to enjoy the fall weather. Very nice place to stay. The layout of the house was nice and allowed everyone space to spread out. The 1 yr old twins enjoyed the space to run around both inside and outside.

3 high school girlfriends getaway

I had the master suite with it's own bathroom with walk in glassed wall shower.Very comfortable bed and sheets were so soft. I always bring my own pillows but didn't need to here, they were very good pillows. Shower was great, nice to have sheets and plenty of towels provided. Very clean place. 2nd time staying there and would stay again.

Clean, roomy and convenient

This home is spotless, recently updated and convenient to the activities of La Crosse. Our stay was brief, but it was nice to have a comfortable and clean place to stay where we could look out at the river and relax in the evenings was appreciated. A note - the listing indicates fireplace, but I believe that is an error. There were smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in the home.

Clean and convenient right on the river!

Everything was exactly as advertised! We really appreciated the abundance of towels, kitchenware, and laundry machines. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. The porch and view of the river were wonderful! The location really couldn't be beat. It's so convenient to get on the interstate for surrounding towns or right into La Crosse while still feeling peaceful. I grew up in the area, and it felt like really being home again to stay here instead of a commercial hotel.

Long Lacrosse Weekend Fun

Everything about the property was as advertized. Very clean, quiet neighborhood, good location for using the public boat access. Would have really appreciated having a boat dock since we bought our boat along and the property is on the Black River connecting to the Mississippi. Kitchen had everything we needed. The bath towels were great.

River home

This place was amazing. It was super super clean. Nice to have the enclosed back porch with a view of the river. We sat in there the whole time we rented. Seen lots of eagles, which is my favorite. Plenty of room for our family reunion. Don't miss out on this place. Only would recommend that a hand rail is install at front door steps, the step out front is kinda high. Thanks to the owners for sharing their house with us.

Fabulous

We and our friends spent 2 nights here and could’ve used more. Located right on the back waters between the Mississippi and Black river, we had lovely views of the river while sitting in the 4 season glassed sunroom, out on the upper deck, or on the lower deck! The neighborhood was nice and quiet, any neighbors we met were congenial. The house was very comfortable, clean and well stocked for our stay. Cindy was responsive to our request to have the lights in the sunroom turned on, she even came and showed us how to do it! Very pleasant, friendly and helpful. We all agreed we would stay there again.

Amazing House Right on the Water!!

My family and I were in town for a wedding. We traveled from California. We felt it would be easier for us to stay in a house, rather than a hotel, considering we had a toddler with us. The house was fantastic - we loved it! There was plenty of room for all of us and it was fully stocked with the essentials - blankets, towel, iron, kitchenware, etc. The view off the back porch was wonderful - right on the water - a nice spot to have a cup of coffee in the morning and just take it all in. We actually met some of the neighbors as well. They were super friendly and very kind. We went during October and all the houses on the street were decorated for the season. A great house in a great neighborhood. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hopefully we can go back soon!!

Beauty and Tranquility

We had a wonderful stay at this French Island property! Every room was well maintained and fully stocked with all that we needed. To save valuable family time, we had a grocery order delivered to us on the first day. Although we brought our own lawn chairs, there was plenty of seating in the back yard and throughout the home. We sat around the firepit, relaxing and enjoyed watching the boaters and birds and saw a beautiful bald eagle that landed right in the tree in the yard then flew over to the island directly across from us! My siblings and I had fun playing several of the games that were stored in the game cabinet. Our kids and grandchildren came to visit, and we grilled out using the charcoal grill provided. On our last day, we enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers beat the Chicago Bears on the large TV in the living room. It was great to be in Wisconsin to watch the game from this beautiful property! Thanks for a wonderful stay and the memories that will last a lifetime! We look forward to our next visit!

Girls' weekend

We were very pleased with our rental on French Island. The house was spotless with all the accommodations we needed. We stayed the first weekend in November, and the weather was perfect for hiking and having a campfire. We loved the 3-season porch to watch the birds on the river and enjoy the sunshine. Definitely a place we'd like to return to!

Perfect little home on the Mississippi!

I have very high standards when it comes to cleanliness and this home met those standards! It is also in a quiet neighborhood on the river with great views. We will definitely stay again when in La Crosse!
