"The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. Le Domaine Aubazen

"Tamas and his family were amazing hosts. I was travelling solo and arrived on Easter Sunday. When I go to the train station and nearby town, everything was closed. The host arranged for a taxi to pick me up, they drove me to and from dinner so I didn’t have to walk in the rain and then they drove me to see the Lascaux IV cave. I am so grateful for their kindness and hospitality. The room, garden and breakfast were perfect and just what I needed after a weary travel day. Thank you Tamas and...

"This is a quirky and charming little property. We loved it. We had a two story room with large window and beautiful view of the cathedral from our bedroom. "Our room was lovely with an old world feel combined with modern facilities, a tasteful restful space. Nathalie and Eric the owners were extremely hospitable and friendly, and laid on a wonderful breakfast every morning together with a table d'hote for the guests on the Monday night we stayed with them which was most enjoyable. The exterior of the property is very picturesque with expansive grounds along with a lovely pool and shaded deck. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when we are...

"We have just spent 3 nights at this fabulous property. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. They advised us on where to eat and even booked some restaurants for us as well as advising us on good places to visit in the vicinity. The property is beautifully renovated and incredibly stylishly presented but feels relaxed and comfortable. Our room really was lovely. La Villa des Consuls
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, 178 reviews
"This is a good property in the heart of the historic district of Sarlat. We had great support from Valentin and Clois when we were there. The room was in the attic with a small kitchenette, which we used for breakfast 2 of the days that we were there. We needed a property with a garage and booked one with them. What we did not realize that this was a several minute walk from the property itself. There also was no convenient place to bring up the car to unload luggage since there was a fair going...

Nice house, ground floor, near the River Vézère, close to Eyzies and Bugue
7.4 out of 10, Good, 13 reviews
"We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."
