"Really convenient location in Palermo and I felt very safe walking around. Lots of restaurants within close distance and having the cafe next door for breakfast was perfect. All the staff (including at the cafe next door) were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean and spacious and perfect for what I needed for my 3 night stay. "

"Communication was great and timely. Easy for Uber to pick us up from the apartment building. Grocery store was a few blocks away. There were a few coffee and pastry shops close by. Not a lot of restaurants nearby but it’s close within driving distance. "

"I loved absolutely everything about this little gem of hotel. I only needed to stay 1 night and it was perfect. "If you are looking to be in Palermo Soho amongst the great restaurants and shops, you can’t do better than 1828 Smart Hotel. The staff were friendly, the breakfast delicious and the beds super comfortable. I will definitely stay there again next time I am in town."

"Andrea iat front desk s the best, great service, big heart for us travelers. Worst part is i ordered a private room but had to go outside in the closed courtyard down the hall to rhe bsthroom in 40 degree weather at night. The other rooms are indoors.The hotel is in a central area of the best part of town Palermo Soho. "

Casa San Jose is a beautiful historic building and the rooms are fitted out beautifully. The rooms are secure, and the kitchenettes perfect to make breakfast. I find it a very calming place to stay."
