"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a very good stay at Rio Othon Palace. The location is fantastic, especially if you want to enjoy Copacabana and experience Rio de Janeiro. The hotel itself was good and comfortable, and the service overall was good, although I wouldn’t necessarily describe every aspect as excellent. However, there was one person who completely changed my impression of the staff and made me raise my staff rating to 5 stars, Genair Gomes from Security. Genair was absolutely wonderful. She was extremely helpful from the moment we spoke and gave me so many great tips and recommendations about Rio. What impressed me most was that her kindness never felt like simply part of her job. She genuinely cared about my experience. Whenever she saw me, she would check to make sure I was okay, ask if I was enjoying myself, and make sure I was having a great time in Rio. That kind of attention and genuine hospitality makes a huge difference when you are traveling. She made me feel welcomed, looked after, and safe, while still allowing me to enjoy the city and discover Rio. Employees like Genair are what guests remember after a trip is over. She is the reason I changed my staff rating to 5 stars. Rio Othon Palace is very fortunate to have someone who represents the hotel with so much care, warmth, and professionalism. Thank you, Genair, for helping make my time in Rio even more special. 🇧🇷❤️"

"The location was excellent, not much English was spoken but understandable due to staying away from copacabana. Everything was explained perfectly and there was 24/7 staff ready to help. Rooms got cleaned everyday if you dropped off your key (get explained) and my favourite was the breakfast as it was fresh and filling. Rooms were cool and it was perfect for my use of using the hotel just to sleep as we were outside majority of the time."
