"The staff was super pleasant and kind - especially the front desk staff. I guess my biggest gripe is that the pool area isn't very inviting. It's not well lit at night and just generally felt like it needed tlc. The restaurant doesn't have much of a vibe and the food is bland but fine. The coffee sucks but it is what you expect at a hotel. It is on the far south side of 7MB so expect long walks but we already knew about that so it was no big deal for us.. we did like our stay here but I think next time we'd just do an Airbnb with some amenities like kayaks or paddle boards. They do give beach chairs and towels though!"

"Convenient location as described in the listing… close to Georgetown and a short drive to Spott’s Beach too. We rented a car which I would recommend! It was great to have Smith’s Cove beach in walking distance as well as Sunset House for when we wanted to go to dinner without driving. We loved having the beach chairs, the cooler and the umbrella as it allowed us to fully enjoy the many beaches of Grand Cayman. I was a bit nervous when I discovered it was a studio apartment over a garage but the privacy was great. We had our own entrance and really felt like we had the place to ourselves. We stuck to simple meals when we cooked - the kitchen had sufficient utensils etc but wish it had a small selection of basic spices… and maybe an additional freezer pack! Overall it was an excellent stay and good value. "

"Location was great as it’s walkable to many restaurants, beach, grocery etc. Rooms are spacious with washer / dryer which is great for families. No elevators. Cleanliness to the room was just ok. Found a lot of sand at our arrival and bath tub didn’t look very clean. Pool & tennis court are great. No gym. "

"We absolutely loved our stay! The house was well-stocked with everything we needed—dishes, blankets, towels, beach chairs, and more. It was very clean and comfortable. The ocean access was just steps away, and the sunset views were absolutely gorgeous. There are even better beaches about half a mile down the road, and a grocery store just 0.4 miles away made it super convenient to stock up on food. We would definitely stay here again!"

"The owner, Cline, was very accommodating to a couple of our requests. Millicent, the property manager, was was always around to help with any needs. Great snorkeling right off the dock (the only dock we saw on this shore, which is needed for rocky water access)! Bring your own snorkeling gear. Perfect sunset views. Great location. 5 minute walk to Kirk Market - fantastic grocery store. Liquor store right across the street. Local buses pass by right in front every few minutes. Walk to many restaurants. 7 Mile beach not far.Not fancy, but great value relative to other nearby accommodation options, particularly being right on the water."

"This is such a great condo in an excellent location. We have been West Bay loyalists for years but it’s gotten too crowded with the new construction and are so glad we tried a different side of the island. The condo is well-equipped for cooking, has a wonderful view of the sea, and had the beach essentials we needed (chairs, umbrella, cooler). The pool is clean and a good size. The beach was so nice for watching the sunrise every morning with coffee (the perks of having a 5 year old who wakes us up at the crack of dawn). The host always had timely communication - check in and check out were a breeze. I would absolutely stay here again! "
