"Arriving at the parking lot (excellent map provided us with directions was e-mailed prior to our holiday), we found wagons for taking our luggage to our cabin which were most appreciated as it is bit of a hike into the forest. The cabin was clean and for the most part well equipped. We were unfamiliar with how to use a French press for our morning coffee and with no instructions we were not particularly impressed. Perhaps a kettle or camp-style coffee perk could be added to the otherwise...

"L'appartement est très bien situé, à mi-chemin entre le quai et l'épicerie. Il est équipé de tous les électroménagers et l'entrée est autonome. Nous avons trouvé le lit et le canapé confortables. Par contre, certaines zones moins fréquentées étaient poussiéreuses de longue date. La machine à café méritait un détartrage, et la rallonge électrique du four était défectueuse. Toutefois, notre plus grande critique réside dans l'impossibilité d'ouvrir les fenêtres, et de l'absence d'un climatiseur ou...

"The house was easily accessible on a perfect location for skiing at Mont Edouard. It was nice having the wood stove which was adequately supplied with firewood. The kitchen had everything that we needed and some basic cooking supplies.The shower was therapeutic after a long day in the slopes. The area is beautiful. The locals are friendly. We spoke no French but were able to get around easily. We enjoyed the restaurant and the corner market. Would stay here again. "

"Owner of the property did not realize that he posted the listing on Expedia as well as other sites. Property was double booked so we did not stay at the property we booked and paid for. Owner did set us up in a different property, but it was not what we booked. I will be filing a direct complaint with Expedia. I hope to inform others so that they may not endure a similar or worse fate."
