The picturesque village of Plockton is fifteen minutes drive and offers several good restaurants and boat trips for seal watching. The world famous Eilean Donan Castle (filmed as a James Bond HQ) is only minutes away. The area benefits from extensive outdoor activities including walking, hill climbing, golf, canoeing and water sports (private mooring available).
There is an abundance of wild life in the vicinity with many birds including the sea eagle (one of Britain’s largest birds). Otters, seals and pine martens can be seen from the house.
There are excellent travel links to the area.
