We had an amazing time and stay at Quarters. Apart from a very comfortable stay, the staff was attentive and atuned to our every need. Breakfast is made to order, fresh and wholesome. Faculties are top class and rooms are spacious, warm and inviting. COVID regulations are followed and we felt safe and protected. Thank you for a great stay and creating memories

The rooms were very comfortable, clean and spacious. The on-site security made us feel safe and our car parked within the security perimeter was comforting. The coffee station needs some upgrading as the coffee ain’t that nice. Due to COVID, we had to service the room, which is totally understandable, and ok

The staff here were so helpful and really made the trip. The hotel is now getting a little tired, especially the bathrooms however the fridge was the coldest and best fridge I have had in a hotel for years. The air con is a little loud. Amenities were difficult to judge as the restaurant was closed due to covid. Would stay here again,

This is our go-to for quick trips to Durban. Perfect location, central and close to all the action. Great rooms, nice staff - good breakfast. Like it a lot for short trips

Great location. Staff and service excellent. Rooms could do with some sound proofing, and fresh air(windows don’t open at all) aircon and bar fridge very noisy in the room, had to unplug.

Our stay at the quarters hotel was overall pleasant. The property is a nice, victorian home. The location on Florida Road is very convenient. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast was good. However, they were difficult to get ahold of. We called the property multiple times throughout the day of our arrival with a question about the stay but no one ever answered the phone and there was no way to leave a message. Additionally, Florida Road can be loud late into the night, especially on a Friday or Saturday. Overall, a lovely place. I would consider staying there again

Great hotel and fantastic breakfast. You can walk out to lots of bars and restaurants which is good but the downside to that is there can be some noise (even on a Sunday!).

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Quarters Hotel Florida Road. My room was clean, comfortable, pretty, and quiet. I appreciated the lovely sitting room next to my room, as well as the nice, breezy balcony area. Hotel staff members were personable, helpful, and professional. The breakfast each morning was fantastic, and the hotel is conveniently located to restaurants within walking distance on Florida Road, which seems relatively safe. Thanks so much for a great stay.

Excellent two day stay here.
This is a very high quality hotel and in my opinion the best hotel in Durban. It's in a beautiful building located on the best street in Durban. I had a very nice two day stay here. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The staff who work here are top-notch. They were extremely helpful and very warm and welcoming. The only thing that needs improvement however is the cleanliness. The carpets in my room were in desperate need of a good vacuuming, and the windows needed to be cleaned as well. I would actually go as far as to replace the carpets completely in the hotel. Other than that though, this is a very high quality hotel that has very friendly staff, excellent food, and in a PERFECT location. I would definitely stay here again!

Dear Mr Munro Thank you for your valued feedback. I would like to let you know I have changed the window cleaning from every 2 months back to once a month. I had decided to do a trial for 6 months to see if it made a difference, given the unusual weather we are experiencing and the water issues. However it seems a must for once a month - I agree! I have arranged deep cleaning for the carpets and we have completed 10 rooms already. I couldn't agree with you more - the carpet is not ideal, it is on my wish list for next year. Great short trip for a break away
Quarters Hotel is a true hotel experience where everyone loves what they do and completely focused on making sure you have an amazing stay. Pictures don't do the rooms justice and the location is great being on the trendy florida road 2km from downtown + easy drive to other popular venues.

Okay hotel in a good part of the city.
Was in Durban for Comrades. 3rd time staying here. Hotel was fine, staff were great. But they did not do enough to support Comrades runners for food. Restaurant should be opened early Comrades morning (not just a box breakfast the night before) and the restaurant should be opened Sunday after the run so we can eat.

A hidden gem in the heart of Durban
What a wonderful stay. This is a hidden gem. I recommend this boutique hotel with absolutely no reservations whatsoever. Welcome by Security guard and the Reception Manager excellent and friendly. Request to check the rooms before allocation allowed with no reservation. Room cleanliness and scent - excellent! Service when we needed help with TV channels prompt and friendly. Breakfast magic! Staff in general excellent attitude. Highly recommended for couples and individuals on business or if you are able to book more rooms for your family.

Hotel is in a good area for restaurants. Restaurant closed both nights for dinner when we stayed. Breakfasts excellent. When we booked the hotel the information said every room has a balcony. This is not true. We had specifically booked thinking we would have a balcony, which we didn't. We pointed this out to staff who said they would move us on the following day. They didn't, nor did they apologise. Room was clean, wifi worked, air con good. (Go to Market restaurant nearby it was a highlight for us)

We had two rooms that had a shared terrace. This was perfect for us, and made going from room to room a breeze. Breakfast was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

This has excellent feel to it, an old historical building that has comfortable rooms and a decent breakfast included. It is situated in a lively but safe part of town, if only it had a pool it would be perfect. Recommended.

Lovely room, friendly staff and the breakfast was great. I just wish they had DSTV in the rooms. Florida road is a bit noisy but we managed to sleep peacefully. I would definitely go there again!
