All staff was helpful. I especially enjoyed chatting with a waitress. I’ve forgotten her name. I do remember she said she was 75. She didn’t look it! She was very welcoming and pleasant. Breakfast was very good. I loved the old public rooms with their antiques and decor. Wish we could’ve stayed longer

Nice hotel, need some small fixes.

Nice hotel. Good feel. Very good buffet. Negatives: received the keys 30 min after check in. It smelled chlorine from the cleaning. The air ventilation in the room was not good. And the pool was very cold.

Was great, loosing it now

Has been my favourite motorcycle/motor hotel in this area (with great roads) for many years. But now with 2 price increases in "no time" one small beer and a Jager costs 269,-. And the single rooms are not up to par... and no towels coming out of the shower did not help either. They have the possibility for Omelette at breakfast...but the chef is never there. Have given this ut, going to Seljord Hotel instead.

We did the check-in at the hotel, we were really disappointed about the bedroom and was very broke and the warm excrement smell was unbearable… We’ve book it with the Spa, swimming pool and sauna, the receptionist told us that it was open and gave us towels but everything was switch off. I asked his manager but he said that he switch it on just during the weekend. The place is very depressing, we felt so uncomfortable that we decided to leave at 16:30 and don’t sleep there. It’s not honest to sell a service at this price and don’t provide it.

Både hotellet og området var meget bra. Var på tur i marka og leide kajakk via hotellet. På hotellet var det en flott terrasse med god mat og drikke. Prøvde også middagsbuffé på hotellet som var meget variert og god. Hotellet har basseng og sauna som er avslappende etter en dag ute. Frokosten var god og variert. Dette stedet anbefales.

Hotellet er veldig fint. Det forventer man også for den høye døgnprisen som forlanges. Vi fikk et rom i den historiske delen. Det hadde rom med balkong og utsikt mot innsjøen. Det kan anbefales. Omgivelsene er veldig fine. Hotellet serverte buffet både til forkost og til middag. Maten var upåklagelig. Men med store busslaster av sultne turister ble det fort kaos og venting både på å få seg et bord og for å sikre seg en bit på f.eks. ostefatet. Vi opplevde også at en del av personalet var ganske tilbakelente både i resepsjon og restauranter, men hyggelig nok. Men oppsummert: Dette er et hotel som man burde vurdere om man skal legge turen innom Telemark fylke.

Dårlig vedlikehold. Gamle og ikke oppdaterte rom. Ikke noen plass å sette fra seg ting på badet Dusj med bare en glassdør!! Kaos under frokosten. For få ansatte og mange retter gikk tomme. Dårlig kommunikasjon med ansatte. Under middagen var 4 av 5 varmretter tomme. Det mest positive med oppholdet var servicen fra vidunderet Anne Lise. Hun ga oss en topp opplevelse!

Slitt hotell og alt annet enn dyrevennlig. Ble henvist til personal inngang i noe som lignet en sliten brakkeby fra 70 tallet. Ok frokost, men om du reiser med hund styr unna.
