"The Billa grocery store is closer than it seems on the map, and if you walk up Lorecka street ,within 8 minutes you will reach a left turn path that leads to the modern stone circle. It's on a hill and it's a great place to watch the sunrise before breakfast and to take some photos. Breakfast was good. Atmosphere of the dining room was really great. Like a cabin in the mountains. Easy walk to the centre of things."

Libušina Villa
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (35)
"No air conditioning, but a fan was provided on request that was sufficient. The hotel only had a small sign in the window, making it difficult to locate on the street. Breakfast (no included in my reservation) was very full and well worth the extra cost. The manager helpfully let me use her computer to check my email."

Hotel Medinek Old Town
3.0 star property
7.8 out of 10, Good, (148)
"Right on the main square but the square isn't that exciting. Hotel has everything you need and the staff were very helpful. Room was decent and the shower was excellent. Breakfast was ok but it seems you need to get there sharp as not much left in last half an hour. Lots of extras on offer such as beauty therapies and reasonably priced but we were only there 2 nights so didn't use them"

Hotel Opat
3.0 star property
7.6 out of 10, Good, (24)
"The room was massive and comfortable, clearly all recently decorated. The staff were friendly. However, the shower was terrible. There was no curtain or cubicle, just a hose from the bath taps. The shower head was mouldy and brittle and the water ran brown for several minutes upon first use. Breakfast wasn’t great. I would stay there again though, as it was good location and otherwise nice, just check the shower as soon as you get to the room."
