I stayed there for a week and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was quiet and clean, the staff where always helpful and friendly and on my rest days when I wasn't site seeing, I made good use of the pool and hotel restaurant which to my surprise was very reasonably priced compared to so many tourist traps. It's a 20 minute walk to the beach which is difficult to do in the heat but only a 5 minute grab ride away. It's location was hidden off the main busy streets so you don't hear hardly any noise. It's a 7 minute walk away from a huge shopping mall which is tricky to get to by foot as you have to cross a busy motorway through a series of sketchy zebra crossings and there is conveniently a Circle K just outside the hotel.

This is the third time ive stayed at the Kana Kuta. This time i brang my parents with me and they were blown away by the exceptional service. The staff go above and beyond for you, they always left a nice note after they cleaned our rooms and always greeted us with a huge warm smile. I love the Kana and will only ever come back to this wonderful hotel!

This is such a lovely hotel, I stay here every time I visit Bali. All the staff are friendly, polite and professional, which makes each stay a pleasure. The hotel is set away from the main road so there is no traffic noise at all. It is well kept inside and out, with the staff taking great care to keep the environment clean and tidy.

The Jana has great staff and reasonable rooms at a reasonable price. Have stayed there twice now and will stay again , it’s a 5 $ cab fare to waterbom park.

Wonderful stay at The Kana. Staff were exceptional and always so friendly willing to help. Breakfast buffet was delicious with great options. Hotel is in a convenient location close to the airport, shopping mall and restaurants. Rooms can use a little updating but overall great stay.

Was just outside of the main markets and chaos and then only a 2.00au grab ride away. Can walk around with out being pestered by people trying to sell you something.

We enjoyed our stay at the Kana. Property was clean, safe and quite. Only drawback is the restaurant was not airconditioned. So a little bit warm during summer.

It was amazing to stay at the hotel. The rooms are not that modern but the service is just exquisite. Staff always carrying a smile on their face. Rooms are kept clean and the breakfast buffet is the best we ever had!!!

Very friendly staff. Keen to help and advise. Gym equipment was old and didn’t work well. WiFi sometimes cut out intermittently. Would have liked to see an iron in the room and also a wall mounted clock or time on the default TV screen.

Terrible hotel! Beware of fake reviews!!
This was genuinely one of my worst stays. I trusted the reviews and the 9.2 rating and boy was I wrong to do that. Location - this hotel is NOT in the prime part of Kuta. It’s secluded and there is nothing happening within walking distance. There is a sad dominoes and kfc about 10 min walk away. All other fun stuff in Kuta (including Kartika plaza) requires a taxi ride. Air con - we complained about this and after leaving it on for the whole night, it still count cool down the room. Condition - the hotel rooms are in terrible shape and a lot of wear and tear. Bathroom - gross, way too small, no door so whole bathroom gets wet every time someone showers, terrible ventilation and super smelly. Tv - super small and not a smart tv Hotel amenities - terrible stench of stale coffee in the lift. Didn’t go away for the 3 days we were there. No cleaning of the lift done throughout our stay. Pillows - stench of stale sweat. Cldnt sleep on it due to the smell. In conclusion, there is NOTHING EXCEPTIONAL about this hotel. If you don’t trust me, take a look at the pics I have uploaded and decide for yourself if you want to subject yourself to a stay in this place. For the price paid, in my opinion, there are far far better hotels to book.

Very quiet, has a restaurant inside the hotel. 10 minutes walk to the shopping place and 15 minutes to the beach. Domino’s pizza and KFC is just one block away. Easy access to motor bikes.

There was water logging in the shower area in our room which was causing a bad smell. The staff had to come and drain it. staff is very good. Breakfast was good but on second day they had nonoptipns for vegetarians. Everything supposed to be vegetarian had egg in it which is not considered vegetarian.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Location walkable to Kuta beach but away from the tourist crowd. Environment is also peaceful as it is a little distance from the main road. Room is clean and basic necessities provided. Will go again.

The private entrance and driveway into the main hotel grounds, and the presence of security officers gave assurance of safety and security. The friendly staff (including the security officers) who not only greet guests but take time to answer questions / requests made us feel at home, knowing our needs are attended to. Breakfast and dinner (we were out the whole day) were good, plus the convenience of a few dining options within walkable distance...and also the 24-hour convenient store. Money changer was not found nearby. Perhaps, the hotel can provide this service for a limited value or assist guests who may have the need.
