1 min walk from selcuk station which you could take direct TCDD train service from Izmir airport There are restaurant and cafe around hotel, very convenient Though is a small hotel, it has what a traveller need No lift, but staff very kind to help bring luggages up and down when checking out. Breakfast is excellent as bread is freshly bake and though it start at 8am, they accomodated to our tour schedule for breakfast at 7.30am. Strongly recommended

Elektrical outlets are in the most inconvenient places. Electrical wiring in the bathroom is like an elementary school student project. Sink is not really attached to the wall. However, very nice staff and a good lication, which is a compesation for the disappointing common conveniences.

Lovely spot. It is in the centre of town, so plan ahead if you are parking and it can be a little noisy. Staff are great, including accommodating vegans with a delicious breakfast.

Clean and comfortable beds, excellent location, walkable to St John’s Basilica, Ephesus Archaeological Museum, train and bus stations. Breakfast was nice. Bathroom is basic, ok for the price

The hotel is conveniently located less than 5 mins to the train station that goes to the Imir airport. Breakfast was delicious and served hot every morning. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Zafer kindly helped with luggage (there is no lift in the hotel) and transport, with a smile on his face. The lady who makes breakfast packed my breakfast for me in a bag to go when i had to leave early for day trips and my flight. I was hardly in my home with so much to see but it felt warm and homely.

It’s a good basic hotel. There’s a lot of restaurants around that are open late. It’s really close to Ephesus. There are a lot of stairs though, which makes bringing up luggage a little difficult. Breakfast was good.

Located in Heart of Selcuk
Overall a good stay. The hosts were helpfuland available all the time. The rooms though a bit small, were clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good. Parking is 100 metres away from the property. Everything is in vicinity of the hotel.

Wonderful and welcoming!
Fantastic local hotel in the heart of Selcuk. Walking distance to great restaurants and shops. A short drive to the attractions. Hotel staff are absolutely welcoming and are ready to make every aspect of your stay perfect. Bed was comfortable. Room and all public areas were clean—especially for COVID. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony each evening. The Turkish breakfasts are a must-have! Shower is a little tight by American standards but not anything that should stop you from staying here.

Location was right at the town centre with a lot of good food options. One of the best and tasty breakfast that we had in turkey. Lot of information regarding places to visit was available at the hotel reception. Would definitely recommend this place. Please be mindful on the unavailability of lift at the property. Nevertheless value for money and a nice property.

Good Location
Within walking distance from the train station and lots of cafes and shops nearby. Hosts are very friendly and breakfast is deliclious. The room is abit rundown and small but still comfortable to stay. We have a balcony which can sit back and enjoy people watching. One drawback is the toilet sliding door. The glass panels are abit transparent which basically can see from outside.

Our 4 night stay at the Urkmez Hotel was exceptional from the minute we arrived. The very warm welcome made us feel like we were visiting friends, and that friendly atmosphere only increased as we got to know the helpful staff. The location was superb. Owners Jimmy & "Juju" spoke perfect English and were very attentive. Our room was spotless, bed was comfy, there were ample hot water and heat, and the abundant Turkish breakfast was fantastic. We would highly recommend the Urkmez Hotel for anyone visting Selcuk and nearby Ephesus.
