65 km north-east of Kuopio, Lake Syväri / Tahko Gulf of 300 m, public beach with shallow, hard sand bottom, no boat.

2013 throughly renovated one half of semi-detached house unit, kitchen-living room, bedroom with two beds, low loft 3 single beds, steep stairs to loft washroom, sauna (electric stove). Holiday apartment is decorated with high-quality materials. This is a compact package in the heart of ski resort Tahko. All services are within walking distance; nearest skilift 400 m, hotel Tahkovuori 700 m, Tahko Spa 1.1 km, the nearest restaurant 400 m Golf 1.3 km (Old Course) and 6 km (New Course).

Tahkovuorentie 34 B apartment is best suited for a family or couples. Not for teenages. Start on arrival day at 16.00 and end on departure day at 12.00 (applies also to weekend bookings). Midsummer reservations only for families or couples. Apartment 11718 Tahkovuorentie 34 A is situated in same semi-detached house.

Not very pleasant experience

1) Fireplace was not working properly, all the smoke came in the room, although the damper was open. 2) No linen was left in the house, it was written in small letters somewhere I couldn't notice, so be aware, that linen are not included. 3) Room was not well heated - in the main room 1 heater was not working at all. Children were all the time feeling cold, since the temperature didn't go over 19-20 degrees. 4) Masterbedroom beds are old and worn out.
