The best area to stay in Krivé is generally within the village centre, particularly around the church and main square.

This central part of Krivé offers a traditional village experience. It's where you'll find the most established guesthouses and local amenities, often within walking distance of the historic Church of St. Michael the Archangel. The layout is typical of a small Slovak village, with homes and guesthouses located along quiet lanes.

For couples seeking a tranquil getaway, staying in the heart of Krivé provides a peaceful base. You're close to gentle walking paths into the surrounding countryside, great for enjoying nature and the quiet village life together. Many guesthouses here offer a personal touch, often including home-cooked meals.

Families will also find the village centre a good fit. The lack of heavy traffic makes it suitable for children, and the open spaces around the church provide room for them to move about.

The best time to visit Krivé is generally during the late spring (May to June) and early autumn (September to October) when the weather is mild and pleasant.

During late spring, the countryside is in full bloom, making it ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the Prešov Region. Temperatures are comfortable for outdoor activities like walking or cycling along the Cirocha River, and the days are long. It's a great time for couples who enjoy scenic drives through the Stropkov District and discovering small villages.

Early autumn offers similarly agreeable temperatures and the added beauty of changing leaf colours, particularly in the forested areas surrounding Krivé. This period is also good for outdoor pursuits, with fewer crowds than the peak summer months.
