Very helpful friendly staff. Beautiful setting on fossil island beach. Loved hearing the Muslim call to prayer from the two local masjids within walking distance. Very handy destination for Muslim families particularly.

Hotel comfort and aesthetics are great. Enjoyed the hotel spa as well! Hotel is away from the center hype area, so if you are looking for some peace and quiet you can consider this hotel. Hotel also provides free shuttle (on a schedule) to ao nang downtown.

The staff were amazing especially Bee on reception she was outstanding, going out of her way for us to organise and help us, so friendly and beautiful, she is to be recommended and recognised for her service to the Seashells hotel. Also Rena was the travel organiser she was extremely helpful in organising days trips and taxis for us. She gave us lots of advice and was very competitive with her prices, we had an amazing boat trip to all the islands. We will be back for sure. The accommodation was beautiful, views amazing and all staff lovely. Great location, beautiful views, pool was amazing. Overall amazing place to stay.

The ShellSea has incredible views and an opportunity to be superb but is generally underwhelming in all aspects. Nothing is especially bad but for the price point it feels like a check box 5 star exercise rather than one of quality. Spend a few pennies more and experience a drastic uplift at places such as Rayavadee, Phulay Bay, Dusit Thani, etc.

We stayed in a pool villa and really enjoyed our time at the Shellsea. Mark who drove the shuttle, was terrific and friendly. The resort is beautiful. Great place to stay in Krabi, however our only complain is there was nothing to do in the evenings. It lacked atmosphere, so the only option for us was to go to town at night. The Shellsea is a bit far from town and their shuttle’s last pick up was at 6pm. We ended up finding a great restaurant with better prices near the beach in Ao Nang that had a fire show in the evenings and live music. Bummer we had to leave the resort to find some evening entertaining.

very nice staff! Even from the first phone call my partner made to this hotel everything and everyone was so gorgeous , friendly , specially reception and the guy who's in charge of water sports due to them, the pools, room and the amazing private beach I have to say it's one of the best hotels in Thailand. We loved the water sports and the pool OMG the temperature was amazing - the best we had in all of thailand . The room we got was amazing a wonderful tub and big clean wonderful room with view to the ocean. The only downside of this hotel is location (very far from everything else, not even 7/11 nearby and hotel restaurants not cheap) and I have to say also the breakfast was also a bit disappointing, not what I expected from 5* luxury hotel like that. But I can't complain I enjoyed my time there very much and I recommend this hotel for couples and who ever that want to relax and enjoy nice beach and pools.

As áreas comuns são muito agradáveis, bem cuidadas e convidativas ao descanso. O café da manhã me surpreendeu pela boa qualidade e variedade, e a limpeza, tanto dos espaços coletivos quanto do quarto, mostrou-se sempre impecável. O restaurante do hotel merece destaque: os pratos são saborosos, bem preparados e com preços justos para o padrão da hospedagem. Os drinks também são muito agradáveis, complementando de forma especial os momentos de lazer no resort. O hotel ainda oferece bicicletas aos hóspedes, o que é uma iniciativa excelente para explorar a região. No entanto, percebi que não estão em bom estado de conservação, sendo necessária uma manutenção mais cuidadosa para que a experiência seja realmente proveitosa e segura. Quanto à localização, embora esteja em frente à praia, o resort é afastado do centro. São cerca de 30 minutos de bicicleta ou 10 minutos de carro até a área central, o que faz com que, na prática, não seja possível sair para comer fora sem recorrer a táxi ou outro transporte. Já as acomodações, apesar de funcionais e confortáveis, revelam certa simplicidade. Não apresentam elementos de sofisticação ou detalhes que transmitam a sensação de um hotel cinco estrelas. Senti falta de toques de luxo e de acabamentos mais refinados, que costumam fazer diferença nesse padrão de hospedagem. We had an amazing stay at The Shellsea in Krabi! The resort was absolutely beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly helpful and resourceful, making our experience even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the pool bar—the staff there was so sweet and friendly, making it a great place to relax and unwind. We also loved how convenient it was to just walk down to the beach, making it easy to enjoy the stunning surroundings. The pools were always at a comfortable temperature, which made swimming even more enjoyable. Another standout aspect was the laundry service, which was incredibly fast—we were so grateful for that convenience. A special shoutout to the concierge team, especially the young lady who helped us book a private long-tail boat tour of the islands on short notice. It was such a memorable experience, and we truly appreciated how seamless she made the process. Overall, The Chelsea exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing, and well-run place to stay in Krabi!

A real gem, peaceful, quiet and tranquil after a number of weeks travelling. The resort is set back from other areas, so there is limited local restaurants, however Godle is very close and very good. Other amenities and shops are over 30minutes walk. The hotel has bikes, my only feedback whilst free they do need servicing and ensuring that they are in good roadworthy condition. Thank you, we had a great stay. Good breakfast and lively staff at the breakfast service.
