Great hotel to sight-seeing and Krabi tours

Hotel is in a great neighbourhood. The pier for 7-island and 4-island tour is just 3 min walk. Ao nang beach can be reached by taxi in just 15 min. Great aesthetics and beautiful scenery. Has a private beach right besides the swimming pool. Vegeterian option in the breakfast would be appreciated but it's not a deal breaker.

Nunca dejo reseñas pero es el peor hotel que he estado. Lamento no haber leido las reseñas de otros huespedes. Espero que esta sirva para que otras personas NO SE GUIEN POR LAS FOTOS. Peor que un hostel. Nos hemos encontrado una salamandra en el baño y por cambiarnos de habitacion nos cobraron 300 bath diciendo que no era problema de ellos. Habitacion vieja, con humedad en las paredes, sucia, camas duras, toallas super desgastadas. Un desastre

La signorina della reception era gentilissima e cordiale . Le stanze erano rumorose , riuscivi a sentire i discorsi dei vicini . La zona limitata per ristoranti e per mezzi di trasporto, se non si affitta un motorino si rimane spesso bloccato. I liked the location which was quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was great and the free shuttle service to Ao Nang beach made it perfect. The friendly and helpful staff made the stay extra special. Restaurants nearby also allowed one to have a variety of food choices.

Vi hadde en helt okei opplevelse. Stranden var ikke noe å skryte av. Bungalowen hadde både masse maur besøk av diger edderkopp. Et lite salamanderskjelett var også å finne...Forutenom var alt i ok stand og de ansatte veldig behjelpelige. Bassenget var også i bra stand.

Man får vad man betalar för. Poolen var bra, men havsremsan utanför är hemsk. Inga möjligheter till bad alls. Ligger en bra bit utanför centrum dock.

A disappointment.

Diamond Beach is drawing a long bow in using the word resort, it is far from this. We arrived to filthy rooms with broken showers and AC units. We had booked for several days and the rooms were paid for, we asked to leave and they wouldn't allow it, nor would the manager speak to us. The woman in charge was helpful and did her best to improve the situation, she moved and upgraded our rooms and that saved our holiday, but we later learned those rooms were available because the previous guests had a similar experience and left forfeiting their money (they came back for one night and told us ). Once we moved it was better (the standard rooms are shocking - the 'resort' has many staff that maintain the landscape who would be better reassigned to rooms to clean and maintain), but that didn't erase the fact that the place is not walking distance to town as described, but a 15 minute highway drive. They run a shuttle to town, but the last return is at 6:30, too early if you want to have a meal and see the sun set. There is very little in the immediate area other than roadside stalls and the hotel has NO amenity - you cannot purchase water, a snack and there's no bar or restaurant other than the disappointing breakfast that we skipped after the first day. Other than the semi manager mentioned above, staff were not helpful. On our own we discovered a convenience store for basics and the nearby peer - but not because they helped or oriented us.

Homey chalet with nice sea view

A very decent place to stay. Cozy chalet with a swing on the porch. Relax on the swimming pool deck and enjoy the beautiful sunset.

Tiny rooms, back of beyond, terrible beach, no bar

We arrived at the hotel for our 4 night stay after travelling around Thailand. First impressions were good until we were shown to a room in a car park. The room was tiny and certainly not big enough for us 3 adults. The hotel recognised this and said they don't do 3 adult rooms, even though Expedia and the hotel had let us book it. We were offered an upgrade to a bungalow which on viewing was tiny and as small as the first room, they then offered us a mat for the 3Rd person to sleep on but there wasn't room to put it anywhere. We decided to book elsewhere so thought we'd get a drink at the bar whilst booking. Unfortunately there is nowhere on site or in the near vicinity t a drink. We went to the beach to sit and re book but it's awful and more like a mud flat. We booked elsewhere and moved on reassured the hotel had said they'd reimburse at least half what we had paid. However they've now rescinded that offer and we've had very little help from Expedia. This hotel in the back of beyond with literally nothing for miles, the rooms are ridiculously small, facilities are poor and I would never recommend it.

Möttes av att hotellet var överbokat så inga rum eller ”villas” fanns tillgängliga. Vi blev däremot erbjudna att bo på deras syster hotell som låg ca 15 minuter med båt bort. Med free transfer. Som aldrig kom. Vi tog oss dit på egen hand och fick inte alls det vi hade bokat däremot låg hotellet bättre till än det första beläget på Rilay Beach

Nice secluded place

One one side, the staff is wonderful. Nice lawn and garden, great pool and view from the pool area. I think we’ve got the bungalow with the nicest view. It is very quiet and peaceful, being far from the main road. Now the downside: if you want a sandy beach, you will have to take the free shuttle, because the local one is not sandy. The hotel is near the pier where the long tail boats are reving their engines. Looks like this hotel had better times before. Over all, depending on your priorities, this hotel is okay for a few days stay.

Henkilökunta ystävällistä, hotellialue siisti, bungalovit olisivat kaivanneet päivitystä. Hotellin uulkopuolella likaista. Edullisia ruokapaikkoja lähietäisyydellä. Sopii lyhytaikaiseen majoittumiseen, mekin suuntasimme Koh Lantalle kolmen yön jälkeen.

Vi stannade endast sista natten innan hemresan men kunde varit kvar ett par natter till. Nackdelen var att det inte gick att bada I havet men man hade tillgång till en jättefin pool. Dåligt med restauranger uppe I lilla huvudgatan.
