Clean, nice pool, great breakfast

Great hotel, close to everything but just far enough away to be quiet. Best buffet breakfast I have had in Thailand, and the pool was nice and big.

Lovely spot to stay while in Ao Nang. The showers were a bit wild and powerful so be aware when turning the shower head. The pool is great for laying by and taking a dip. Close to town.

Comfortable rooms with balcony and pretty good location to longtail boat area. About a 10 minute walk to the main strip of the town. Good/friendly service.

Pool was nice but lounge chairs kept falling apart and could not hold body weight. Breakfast was not bad. Room was ok but bathroom had mold and was not ventilated well - made the room smell.

The hotel is within easy walking distance of Ao Nang beach, about a 10 minute walk. However, take care when walking because the road and pavement to the beach are uneven and some parts in need of repair. The big disappointment was the quality of the hotel room and pool towels, which desperately need replacing! I stayed at this hotel last year and thought the same, and assumed that one year later the towels would have been replaced! Additionally our shower curtail was very dirty and again, desperately needs to be replaced!

Excellent choice. We booked at standard room and got an upgrade to Deluxe room as we arrived at the hotel. The rooms are spacious,clean and a wonderful size balcony. We could overlook the swimmingpool from our balcony. The breakfast was great, and a lot to choose from. The staff was nice and smiling all the time. Rooms was cleaned everyday and refills of coffee,tea and towels etc. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed every minute. The pool area is so great. I recommend this hotel and when we go back to Aonang in a couple of years, this is where we gonna book again. All smiles

Overall Experience

Room condition is kind of old but it could be better maintain. Breakfast is just below average with very salty omelet. The door lock feels very insecure, feels like any key could easily access your room. Bed is comfort though and can sleep 3 persons even for a normal room type.

Smoking room

They gave us a smoking room when it clearly stated non smoking room. Simple but huge mistake for us. We smelled smoke one night but didnt feel like moving. We were tired.

Nice hotel close to Ao Nang beach

We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is older, nice architecture. The room we had was dated but clean. The bed was quite old and a bit noisy with the springs and you knew it when your partner moved. However slept quite well. Pool was lovely. Staff are friendly but English limited unless you time it to get the two ladies who choke communicate ok. Breakfast was so so - could order an omelet which was fine. Got a good rate from expedia during low season for one night and stayed on a little longer. Hired a scooter through the hotel for a day to get around for 200 baht - would recommend.

We stayed for 2 nights. Wished to stay one more night but their walkin rate is very higher than online rate. Almost double! We booked for a standard room. Ac wasn't cooling quickly enough for being place wrongly at the corner of such a big room. The girl at reception kindly offered us upgraded superior room at no extra charge. We did not accept for restricted view from that room(Groundfloor)but that was a nice gesture of goodwill. Buffet breakfast is good. Swimming pool has a timing 8am to 7pm. But I saw guests swimming until 10.30pm.

Good stay

Overall, it was a good hotel for both exploring the krabi area and lounging by the pool. Location: A little outside the main strip but walkable. I think they had a shuttle but you don’t need it. Next to a mini-mart. Pool: Very relaxing, plenty of lounge chairs. Swim up bar. Room: Seclusive room set up which was unique and cute. Clean. Had an outdoor patio good for playing cards. The bathroom was a little strange- the tile they chose clearly harbors mold. My partner could smell it. Don’t come if allergy to mold or have severe asthma. Travel: They have a tourist table in the lobby, though you can go anywhere and set up tours. They have a locked luggage storage for early check in or late check out. Breakfast: We didn’t get breakfast here because it was outrageously expensive.

Mysigt hotell dock väldigt slitet

+ bra läge med trevligt område med matstånd i närheten. Bra gångavstånd till strand mm. 7eleven nära. + tyst område + mysigt hotell med snirkliga trappor till rummens våningar och med lummiga buskar i hotellets trädgård + bra resebokning vid entrén med en gullig kvinna som var duktig på engelska och hjälpsam med transport till flygplats mm. + rymligt rum och stor balkong - mycket slitet hotell där man tyvärr inte gjort underhållsarbete utan låtit fasad, staket mm gå sönder och lossna vilket gav ett lite tråkigt intryck - inte rent på golvet när vi checkade in, fullt med sand - mycket bristfällig frukost. - konstigt byggt badrum med badkar att duscha i som gjorde att vatten stänkte utanför och rann över hela golvet just vid dörren så det var en konstant pöl hur försiktig man än var. Även ett handfat byggt för ett barn i höjd med en kran som inte gick att smyga med trycket på vilket gjorde att man stänkte ner sig själv hela tiden - vi fick inte påfyllt med toalettpapper förutom dag 1, istället fick vi ”napkins” trots att vi såg på städarnas vagn utanför att det fanns gott om toalettpapper att fylla på med, udda. - receptionist dålig på engelska och skulle hjälpa oss med att avboka en sista natt pga ändrad flygtid, slutade med att han fick ringa en kollega och lämna telefonen till oss för han inte kunde kommunicera. Kollegan skulle återkomma dagen efter men det var ingen som återkom och dagen efter såg receptionisten ut som ett frågetecken.

hôtel comfortable, bien situé, personnel sympatique sauf celui au petit dejeuner pas souriant et pas très serviable. Le seul défaut à constater est le manque de matelas sur les transats au bord de la piscine : trés incomfortable et dur pour les problèmes de dos. La personne qui s'occupe des excursions à l'hôtel est trés symphatique et de bons conseils.

Hôtel bruyant, les chambres sont insalubres taches de moisissures dans la douche, pas d’eau chaude pour la douche. Petit déjeuner pain Harris sous vide, café soluble bref dégoûtant . On a réservé un taxi 650 bath et sur le recu à donner au chauffeur 450€ !!! Je ne recommande pas du tout cette hôtel. Très déçu.

I loved every moment of my stay here. From the welcome at reception, to the final farewell, the staff were so interested in helping with anything, including taxis, tours, restaurant and local festival information. The location is convenient to the beach, restaurants and shopping, and the area is quiet at night. The room was spacious and lovely, the pool is perfect and the breakfast is plentiful. Thank you so much to everyone at Ao Nang Bay Resort for making my holiday fantastic!

It is what it is man! It’s great value for the price you’re paying, and staff is excellent. Just don’t expect the upscale Phuket or Bali standards and you’ll be fine. Area is great, far enough away from the main roads to be able to sleep at night while still close enough to the beach and nightlife. The pool bar has solid vibes. Guests are an interesting mix of young and old.
