"The building & rooms are a little dated. Some maintenance is definitely required. Our room was spacious, but had a badly scratched floor & missing panel on the vanity in the bathroom. The staff were wonderful & always helpful. A nice bonus to have a complimentary bus into town that you booked the night before. No lifts, but the staff helped with our cases so it wasn’t a problem."

The room was a bit tight for a family of four, and the uphill location might be challenging for those with mobility issues—especially older guests. "What a wonderful hotel!!! The hotel was elegant, very clean, very thought out. There wasnt anything missing. There was even a kitchenette an a Nespresso machine, which was a lovely touch. The rooms were very comfortable in size. Even the elevator was pretty. Tonia who greeted us and checked us in was just lovely and as quick as you can get to satisfy your needs. In minutes she found a hairdresser one of us needed, she made reservations at a fabuloys local pub/eatery famous for their appetizers and aranged taxi transport to and from as we needed. Then made us all coffee. Concierge and then some. The breakfast was also fantastic. Simply an Amazing gem of a hotel with just 16 rooms!!! Wish all hotels had this type of service with a genuine smile."
