"I traveled solo to Plakias and wasn’t ecstatic about my room but the manager helped me a lot and got me upgraded. Her hospitality skills are excellent and the property overall provided a very nice stay."

"Lovely villa with stunning views and amazing pool. Communication with host was perfect- helpful and reassuring. Would definitely recommend. One small thing- could probably do with some blinds in the living room as it was impossible to sit in the living area in the early evening because of the sun beaming in. This didn’t ruin our stay though as the place and location is lovely."

"This house is simply beautiful! We spent 12 days there and were absolutely delighted. We’ve booked quite a few houses in Spain and Italy, but this one beats them all! Everything has been thought of here, and above all, the quality is superb! The pool was maintained several times during our stay, and we even had the house cleaned with fresh bed linen after the first week. The outdoor kitchen is simply fabulous for barbecues. The outdoor shower is simply wonderful, and the view of the sea at any time of day is the best thing you could ask for. We visited some beautiful coves and beaches in the surrounding area. The maximum drive there was 10–15 minutes. We highly recommend a visit to Taverna Mariou, which is just 500 metres away. Top-notch food with a breathtaking view. A hidden gem is the Merastri Sellia Taverna, just a 15-minute drive away. We didn’t find better food anywhere else. We wouldn’t recommend eating out in Plakias – the quality is rather poor. The Syn.Ka supermarket is just an 8-minute drive away.Communication with the manager, Dimitra, was excellent. The same goes for the owner, Tasos. When we arrived, we were surprised to find various specialities in the fridge and on the kitchen table. Thank you very much for that! The only downside is the strong winds in July, but on the plus side, it wasn’t too hot. And having a cup of tea or coffee on the upper terrace and looking out over the sea, is the very definition of quality life. Thank you so much for everything!"

"We were so happy when we arrived to see all the pictures, that looked so surreal, were actually reality! We loved the place and the location to Plakias! Short walk down the road to the main street. So much to do within minutes and short drives, and so much to see. The house was a spacious place to relax after long days out at the beaches and exploring. The hosts were very responsive and addressed any questions immediately from reaervation and lreperation to during the stay! Thank you Sunset View for providing an amazing place and experience for our first visit to Crete!!"

"Amazing place in a great location with the best views. Host was amazing, checking in daily to see if we needed anything. Cant say enough good things about this house and host! We’ve never been treated so well! Cant wait to come back next year!"

"Staff was great we enjoyed the food I think the main draw back was it’s a very popular spot on hot days and there isn’t designated parking for people staying at the resort, so sometimes when we would come back it was really hard to find a parking spot"
