"This hotel was beautiful, but the road to get there may not be worth it. It eventually turns into a dirt road and it can be dangerous. It is a very long way up the mountain. The only way to get there is a tuktuk or scooter, but that still could be dangerous. Just know that it is a long way out of Kandy."

"Beautiful clean, spacious room. Comfortable bed and fantastic rain head shower. From our balcony we had the most amazing view over the lake. The staff are very attentive, Peter their maitre de gives the most professional service we have had since leaving Australia. The owners Kumudula and his wife Sulani (I hope I've spelt your names right) made us feel so welcome from the start. We drank tea with them and on our second day joined them for a trip on the lake in their boat. Fantastic sights...

"We had always wanted to stay on a Tea Estate in the hills and this did not disappoint. A great tour of the estate was arranged either the Tea Estate Manager and was an excellent insight into how tea is grown and picked. Great views from the veranda. Staff most helpful."

The drive up was pretty intense as it’s out the way, so we didn’t spend loads of time in the accommodation but wow the views were incredible morning & evening looking out to the river!! Food was nice, staff very friendly. They had dogs on site which were very friendly also. Can be very noisy throughout the night with dogs howling and birds."
