Disappointing
Disappointing for a 4star hotel. Disappointing that it is policy not to have double beds. The hotel is looking dated with fairly tired towels and cheap soaps etc disappointing that no bottles of water provided. Just not 4 star service or facilities.

A decent hotel in a very convenient area of Kos. Ask for an upper floor to get better city views. We were in the 1st floor and only saw treetops. The hotel was great to allow us an earlier check in upon our arrival which we had requested via emailing them prior

Lovely hotel, amazing location! Breakfast was quite expensive so we never got it, but plenty of restaurants less than 5 minute walk. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Double bed is just two single beds so for a couple a little uncomfortable but everything else was lovely

A very pleasant & beautiful hotel!
Beautiful, large, pleasant rooms with a nice balcony, great location to easily access everything you may need in Kos town. It can be noisy at night from the bars nearby if you want to sleep with the window open. Breakfast is adequate but more like for a 3* hotel. The pool quite small but who needs it when in a Greek island with the beach in 10 min on foot. Except from the spacious rooms, good quality of mattress and bedding the facilities would match a 3* hotel I would say. We definitely enjoyed our stay but I’d prefer more fresh fruits and better variety of the food for breakfast, also take away option as we joined a few day trips so had to leave quite early without the space to eat and enjoy it. I loved the coloured light in the balcony and the window net to stay mosquitoes free

Money stolen from room.
Me and my partner stayed here for a week and it is the worst place I have ever stayed at. I travel for work so I see a lot of hotels, this is the first time I have had jewellery and money stolen from the room. When we spoke to the manager she treated us like dirt and said basically we were lying it made us both feel incredibly uncomfortable. The Photos on this listing are also not accurate, out linin was not changed until day five, they do not provide fresh towels or top up toiletries which is only shower gel and shampoo combined. The hotel looks like it hasn’t been updated in 40 years. Overall the worst experience I've had at a hotel, save yourself having your holiday impacted by this hotel and go somewhere else.

Our hotel bedrooms have been renovated 2 years ago and provide safety deposit boxes in order for our guests to secure all their valuables and money.3 days before your departure, you claimed that you could not find a necklace of no monetary value to you, only sentimental, and a one euro coin.We had asked you to thoroughly check your belongings in case you misplaced it somewhere. We suggested to you to report it to the police with our help but you refused.All other comments will be taken to consideration to make our future clients happy.With our best regards

The Biggest Bed I've Ever Slept In.
I had a wonderful solo trip at the Alexandra Hotel in Kos. I'd booked a single room but was upgraded to a suite and had the largest bed I've ever slept in. The hotel has a real 80's vibe which I loved. Especially the quirky lifts. The staff were a delight and super friendly from the reception, to the waiting staff to the cleaners. All so helpful The room was fully air conditioned, had a private balcony, kitchenette area and clean bathroom. I'd highly recommend it.

Great location and value for money
Huge room with king bed and a small Kitchenette with a hot plate and fridge. Not much else in room a chair or lounge would have been nice. Balcony overlooking Kos Harbour. Great location in centre of Kos Town. Clean rooms friendly staff

We stayed here for 1 night as a stopover before going to the hotel we would be spending the rest of our holiday (michelangelo hotel). As a stopover hotel, this was fine but I was very glad I wasn’t spending my whole holiday here. The bed was quite hard and uncomfortable, the room was very basic but had a lovely view overlooking the harbour. As other reviews have said, the bathroom is very outdated (think Grandma’s bathroom!), however it is adequate and I was able to have a comfortable shower. We didn’t have breakfast as we preferred to check out local places in Kos since we were in town already. The hotel allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel after checkout but be warned that there is no actual luggage room, we just left it tucked away by the reception area; gladly the luggage was still there when we returned a few hours later! All in all, this was an adequate hotel for a stopover for 1 night; it’s in a central location and the room is comfortable enough, although the bed was too hard for me. I’d rate this hotel as a comfortable 3* rather than 4* as I would expect more comfort and luxury from a 4*. I would probably stay here again as a stopover but not as my main hotel (having said this I’m used to 5* standards so perhaps I was expecting too much from this hotel!)

The room was nice and had a nice view. The hotel was close to shopping and restaurants. The breakfast was adequate and had nice variety. Our complain is that the air condition did not work; they brought us a fan but the room was still hot.

Goed hotel. Personeel stond ins steeds bij met raad en daad. Spijtig dat het zwembad nog niet open was, maar dat was volledig te wijten aan Corona. We mochten wel zonder probleem een zwembad van een ander hotel gebruiken

We stayed one night en route to Patmos. The hotel was excellent, convenient for both town and harbour. The room was very good with a large comfortable bed and a balcony overlooking the town and harbour. The continental breakfast was also excellent and had a greater choice than that might have suggested. Staff were all very pleasant

Best time in a special hotel
We had the best time at this hotel! Effie on the front desk was especially wonderful! She gave us the most lovely room and accommodated us when we wanted to extend our stay. All the staff in the dining room and housekeeping were great too! Cleanest room ever! The location was perfect for getting to the beach and shopping. Tips on local restaurants were equally appreciated. Thanks to you all for a special anniversary trip!

Niceish hotel
Rude employees at the front desk, but hotel was nice. Rooms and bathroom was quite large and had a balcony with a niceish view. It’s a few streets from the water so walking distance to many restaurants. Pillows were not comfortable to sleep on, but then we had anticipated this and brought our own. Elevators are extremely small and barely fit two people with our suitcases. It was a tight squeeze.

Great hotel in the centre of town
I was made very welcome on arrival at this hotel, a woman travelling alone after a very long day. This was very much appreciated. My room was large, clean and very comfortable, with a small balcony overlooking the water. There was a complimentary bottle of water awaiting me. Although the hotel was very central, it was also very quiet. I felt safe. Breakfast offered many choices and staff were very pleasant and helpful at checkout. This hotel was excellent value and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.
