"My wife and I loved our time at this property. It has a very cute garden where we would sit and have tea. We also enjoyed the art display in the living room, which was all made by the host’s mother. The property is in an area away from the city where we could get a taste of everyday life in Japan, so we were delighted every time we walked to and from the train stations. Plus, our host was very helpful and attentive, she assisted us to get our luggage forwarded to our next hotel. We had an...

"The property seems to be recently updated, it is modern, and clean. The amenity is lacking a few things (for example, it tells the guest to wash dishes and put them away but doesn’t provide a clothe to dry them). Also, the instruction isn’t super clear. The instruction reads to leave the key on the table when checking out (that’s what it says literary in English), when in fact you need to lock and put the key in the lockbox as one example. Also the road to access the property is quite narrow...

Hotel Monterey Grasmere Osaka

8/10 Good

"The sewer gas was very unpleasant in the bathroom, from the drain next to the bath tub below the sink."

Osaka Excel Hotel Tokyu

10/10 Excellent

"Perfect hotel for business, exceptional value. Rooms are very spacious and nicely finished especially given the price. The location is very convenient with easy access to transit. Some exceptional restaurants within walking distance. And the ultimate bonus, the windows actually open. I've stayed here countless times for business and will continue to do so whenever in Osaka."

Hotel Monterey Le Frere Osaka

10/10 Excellent

"We loved our stay in this hotel! The room had a lot of space, was well maintained and looked brand new. The convenience store right under the hotel was awesome to have, we visited it at least once a day. The location is good too, an easy walk to Osaka Station and the main shopping hubs. The hotel laundry was very affordable and easy to use as well if you time it properly. We would absolutely stay here again when we come back to Osaka!"
